It's been several years since my last actual fight. As far as attire in my life time going back to my senior year in high school I fought in a school uniform. My next fight was unplanned at a night club just before I turned 50 and I was wearing a blouse skirt set. Around 6 years ago I gave 3.arranged matches a shot at the behest of an ex at his home. These were boxing matches and I wore bras and loose fitting half slips. Those were the most comfortable.

Wore my gym gear to my last fight which was around 2 years ago!!

Yes attire/costumes can really add an element of excitement and be another expression/out let of competitiveness.  As long as they eventually get each other out of them...that is part of the fun of watching.

Although I love the thought of two women in jeans, stripping off their tops and fighting topless, I guess my longstanding favorite attire is to see girls fight in short skirts or dresses, pantyhose, and sexy high heel shoes.
