Somehow I am not surprised. Everything has been heading this way, especially in the post FOSTA/SESTA era. Looks like YouTube is the next one to fall in line. We are becoming more and more like China every day with regards to our internet policies. It's scary and sad honestly.

In case you haven't noticed Youtube is a private company. So saying this is like China is a bit whiny no? A private company wishing to reduce the possibility  of criminal charges and civil litigation isn't exactly badthink. You may as well be pissed at a toy company that removes a choking hazard because you like the toy and are aroused by choking.

If I was Youtube I would be crapping my pants every time anyone with significant numbers does a livestream in fear that today is the day they do something stupid and broadcast and actual serious injury or death. All Youtube is doing is trying to show self regulation so that law enforcement/lawmakers don't feel the need to do it for them. And if your main concern is you may indirectly lose some fap material (that really was kind of questionable being there in the first place) consider the alternative. You could lose the whole thing via a lawsuit and/or actual government regulation.

There are any number of gruesome and violent videos on YT, and they seem to hang around longer than the catfight videos. Last year I was browsing female MMA vids, and I found a play list containing plenty, along with many street catfights, mostly from the US. There were also videos of females being stoned and beheaded, shot, stabbed and beaten up by men in the street.. Clearly, the person who compiled that list was into violence against females, rather than female combat.

Checking back a couple weeks later, many of the street fights had been deleted by YT, but the other, more extreme stuff was still there.

I've also noticed that street fights between US black girls don't seem to get deleted. It's the white North American and European girl fights that YT are sensitive about. I'm not accusing them of racism, because I don't know if they are proactive in deleting material, or just react to stuff being flagged by viewers, so make of that what you will.

I'd say it isn't one person, such playlists are compiled for people whose social media is Gab. Phenomenons, like homophobia, transphobia and even the racial theory originate in misogyny. People like that are the first to claim, bumping their chests as if they were orangutans, that it's just how men are, disregarding the fact, that the closest genetic relative to us, the bonobos are one of the most social creatures.

Which is why a lot of what they believe is the adult version of playing house. Plenty of strong men, generals or just regular soldiers interned for heroic acts would actually these men to task on misrepresenting them. They went to war, not for reasons people behind planning them, but to keep their own land, and to keep their families safe. While it's true that many of them still beaten their wives behind closed doors, they still weren't as bad as crowding in a dark corner of the internet until one of them is "brave" enough to shoot up a yoga studio like last Fall in Florida. Heck, just last week I heard the argument women are harassing us to death. Funny, I fail to find correlating criminal reports that support that, but of course it's irrelevant, they want things that feel true.

Another dangerous misconception is that the most violent crimes are ones committed for such arbitrary reasons like faith. In reality, belittling and denigrating victims is right up there with it. One such preemptive measure is, and 45 took his own role in this, is perpetuating the myth that you can't be nice to any woman because unlike you, who work for a living, they only exist to exploit "benefits" like harassment. They suggest the only one to deal with women and to protect yourself is to jump on the bandwagon yourself. This is what psychology calls emotional blackmail. You are to literally feel your manhood shrinking if you think for yourself.

Which is, last but not least the biggest tell. A loud minority that claims to be for absolute, unfettered free speech (something they themselves don't adhere to) and individuality, yet the only way to bring their point across is by shouting, and they all seem to like the same haircut and wear the same stylized or plain shirt. Now back where I came from that's called a dictatorship.

You're not wrong about Google, but that's a different issue from the Logans and Pewdiepies of YouTube who want to shape reality by using their fanbase into one where their online actions have no real life consequences.

But your whole answer is a whole lot of wishy washy hand waving which confirms my suspicions: Your political thought process hasn't gone beyond "Me hate government. " Why don't you engage that nice person Youtube (for they legally are a person ) and ask them why they made their decision.

Lol at you ripping somebody else for being naive then saying that!

Have you ever tried having a conversation with the "person" known as Google?

No but I do understand obvious sarcasm unlike you.

Youtube's responses to things tend to largely based on algorithms and flagging. What goes into the automated processes is a bit of mystery. And that will be the issue anytime they target anything or make a new policy. So much of their process is automated that it is a bit of a crapshoot what will actually be removed.

They only have the crappiest of videos on there anyway. They never did understand perves on YouTube. You have to go to Pornhub or Xvideos.com. We are no longer in YouTube country.

And herein lies the problem. Are they a private company? One could make that argument I suppose sure.

One doesn't have to make the argument. They're a publicly traded company that can make any rules they want.
