Hair pulling in women's mma fights
« on: May 06, 2019, 11:26:35 PM »
First, I wanted to say I was inspired to start this thread because of Presenter fan's topic of hair pulling while wrestling.  I was going to just include these clips in his thread, but I don't want to take away from his excellent topic.

I realize that women aren't allowed to pull hair in mma or ufc fights.  But apparently that wasn't always the case.  Here's a couple of yt clips done years ago, where the women are allowed to pull hair, and I think it's awesome!  Too bad it isn't allowed today.

I much preferred that to modern MMA/UFC. That was sexy - good hair pulling and top pulling action. More like a real fight unlike the highly technical stuff it has evolved into.

I remember in one of the early PPV UFC matches, there was a guy with a pony tail.  Pretty early on in the fight, his opponent grabbed it and punched him in the face a number of times to knock him out.

I don't think he was expecting it at all
