COSPLAY MATCH
Ultimate Cosplay Wrestling was a local favorite before the Pandemic hit and during it's hiatus, the positive thing about their hiatus, it really allowed the organizers to view fan feedback on what they wanted to see in the future and what they thought about the recent ways before the pandemic and perhaps the most commented on, not a huge disparity between the top comment and the next popular comment was about the fed's 1st original gimmick, The Power Rangers, who through their friendship and teamwork, seemed to always overcome the adversity and win the day, The Ranger Men and Ranger Women.
With it's return, the organizers put into play their new game plan based on the fan feedback and were willing to watch and learn to see how the fans responded.
For match 3 of 8, the infamous Power Rangers , the fed's mainstays were in action, this match featured the Ranger Women, the Pink and Yellow Rangers.
Wearing updated sexier outfits instead of the old full body garb, out came the heroines to a still popular greeting from the fans and the Ranger Girls naturally gave the fans their sweet attention back before heading into the ring for their 1st match in years, the last time they took to the ring, they were both in mixed tag matches, The Pink Ranger on day 2 of 3 and the Yellow Ranger on day 3 of 3 of their weekend show, with both Ranger Women hitting their trademark Hurricarana's to pin the male member of the heel teams they were facing as it was rare to see the Rangers lose.
Once in the ring, the Ranger Girls continued to entertain the crowd awaiting their mystery opponents.
Turns out, it was not opponents, but 1 opponent as fan feedback wanted new characters to go along with the established characters without having the same old same old every show and this new character was definitely someone or something not seen anywhere before in any cosplay fed, a new heel known as The Anything but Jolly Green Giant.
The fans and the Rangers were stunned at what they saw, the Giant was indeed a Giant, standing at an announced 7'3 , weighing 303 lbs , and full of muscle was this monster of a woman, nowhere close to the friendly giant from the commercials as she made her way to the ring muttering Fe-Fi-Fo-Fum over & over with each step as the Power Ranger women despite what they saw , seemed unfazed, after all, the two women have defeated men's' teams before.
The Non Jolly Green Giant surprised nobody as she waked into the ring by stepping over the top rope like it was non existent and then let out a little scream before the bell rang to start it out.
As usual, both Ranger Girls quickly began to clap to get the crowd involved as they quickly discussed as to who would go first, but the Giant came at both of them with arms out extended trying to clothesline both heroines, but they easily ducked under the Giant heel and since both were still in the ring, the Rangers bounced off the ropes for momentum a both hit the Giant hard with dual dropkicks , the Giant woman actually took a few steps back and the heroines quickly celebrated knowing their dropkicks moved the behemoth already and they knew it could be the age old "The Bigger they are, The Harder they fall" effect could be had.
However, the Giant indeed was NOT fazed , she did what she did to throw the overconfident heroines off the trail and when they turned after high fiving, there was the Giant in their faces and their smiles quickly disappeared as the Giant's hand wrapped around their throats and lifted the heroines up off the mat , making their legs flail for escape while also trying to pry the hands of the Giant off their necks as they quickly lost air and was close to passing out that quickly, luckily for them, the ref did not even bother warning the Giant, he just went straight to the 5 count to make her break the choke holds.
Just before the 5 count, the Giant tossed the heroines away , tossing them both several feet without barely trying , both heroines landing on their feet , but already winded, they were not able to keep their feet and proceeded backwards a few steps before falling over and downwards to the mat, using whatever strength they had left to make sure their throats were not ripped out , and once they knew they were intact , they coughed for any air they could get.
The Pink Ranger got a little more time to gasp for air , but Yellow got little chance as the Giant yanked her up by the back of her costume by the neck area , making her go up a foot before her feet hit the mat and with little effort , the Giant bench pressed the Yellow Ranger high over her head , full press and did bench presses with her , going up and down like the Yellow Ranger was a mere EMPTY weight lifting bar and as she lifted the Yellow Ranger up a 10th time, she pushed up hard and let go, the Yellow Ranger flew up & up & up and after letting go of the Yellow Ranger, the Yellow Ranger was falling to the mat as the Giant was moving on to the Pink Ranger, not worrying about the Yellow Ranger.
The Giant was reaching for the Pink Ranger as the crowd told the story, the Yellow Ranger crashed HARD onto the mat , her body actually twitched a bit from the force of her landing and her body continued to spasm as the giant bench pressed the Pink Ranger up and also bench pressed her like a sack of potatoes and also showing off her pressing skills , the Giant pushed up hard and let go of the Pink Ranger , this time the Giant watched her handiwork as the Pink Ranger hit the mat with a thud.
The Yellow Ranger was brought up again and the Giant with little effort powerbombed the Yellow Ranger down onto the Pink Ranger, the Pink Rangers arms & legs shot up high and fell limp to the mat as the Yellow Ranger from the impact, wound up rolling off her partner and onto her back , her legs twitching a bit from her stunned bash into her partner, squirming in pain as she was unaware that the Giant was going to make the Pink Ranger repay the favor against her own partner and the winded Yellow Ranger was clueless until the Pink Ranger was powerbombed down onto her, just like the Pink Ranger before, the Yellow Rangers arms and legs shot high and quickly fell limp to the mat , the Pink Ranger fell off her partner from the impact and shock of it as the Rangers were in major trouble and needed to really summon their powers to to emerge victorious as usual.
The Yellow Ranger was again yanked up like a mere ragdoll and was placed on her back across the turnbuckle so she lay vertically in the corner with two sides of the ring balancing her and as she lay there, the Pink Ranger was placed right on top of her and they remained stacked as the Giant ducked down and got the Yellow Ranger onto her shoulders , with the Pink Ranger still perfectly balanced on top of her and the Giant then began to torture rack the 2 heroines at the same time, the fans were agog as they saw 4 arms and 4 legs bouncing totally limp on the shoulders of the powerful Giant , the ref had to reach high to try to check on the heroines who were already too out of it to try to tap out or cry out a submission , but the ref did not even get a chance to attempt a 2nd check on the heroines as the Giant released both heroines who fell molded body to body for an insane backbreaker as the Yellow Ranger bent big time over the Giant's knee and the Pink Ranger despite landing on her partner, she still got bent pretty good herself , the Giant took a breather as both heroines remained bent over her knee before she pushed them off , where finally they became untangled with their bodies and lay out.
The Giant placed the Rangers side by side and bounced off the ropes for momentum and jumped up & down, crashing her long leg down onto the throats of both heroines with a nasty leg drop at the same time , again their arms and legs went up high before falling limp to the mat .
The Giant folded both heroines' legs over their bodies so their wrists and ankles met next to their heads and with 1 huge hand , the Giant held both the wrists and ankles of the Pink Ranger while her other hand did the same to the Yellow Ranger with room to spare and the ref moved in and it was a mere formality, ONE-TWO-THREE , The Power Rangers were both pinned with the utmost of ease , it was rare to see any Power Ranger lose, man or woman , but tonight, not only did the Pink & Yellow Rangers lose , they were DOMINATED by just 1 woman, the victorious Giant known as The Anything But Jolly Green Giant.
