This is the third round (out of five) in my Franchise Battles: Game of Thrones vs Harry Potter. The theme for the first round was kickboxing, wrestling was the theme for the second round and regular boxing is the theme for this round.

Fight 1: Emma Watson vs Natalie Dormer
Round 1: Both girls are confident going against one another as they both won their previous two fights. Not a too exciting round as the girls cautiously throw punches with neither one getting in any real trouble. The majority of the round has been spent circling and stalking one another around the ring.
Round 2: Slow and steady just like round one until BOOM Emma kisses the floor via right hand uppercut from Natalie. Emma gets up at 5 but while she’s figuring out what just happened Natalie goes to work and hurts her body with jabs and connects with hooks of her nose and cheeks.
Round 3: Tough round for Emma as Natalie bosses her around the ring the entire round. Natalie had a response for whatever Emma threw at her. The round ends with Natalie smashing Emma with multiple hooks across the face and body.
Round 4: Another tough round for Emma as Natalie has her all figured out. Whenever Emma would throw a punch Natalie found her way around it and whenever Emma would attempt to defend herself Natalie found her around it as well.
Round 5: Emma fails to land a punch for the third round in a row as Natalie continues her domination. Emma is helplessly stuck in a corner desperately trying to get out as Natalie keeps landing punches wherever she pleases with Emma on her last legs.
Round 6: Emma spends another round suffering a beatdown in the corner as her fighter spirit starts to crack. As Emma stars to slide down Natalie reaches under her arms, shoves her back at the corner and continues.
Round 7: Not much left in Emma as Natalie cleans her up around the ropes, lands a few uppercuts and she drops to canvas as the referee counts her out. Big win on Natalie’s behalf and for the Game of Thrones girls.

Fight 2: Bonnie Wright vs Sophie Turner
Round 1: Sophie shows of her skills early, rushing the flanks and putting the hurt on Bonnie’s ribs for the majority of the round. Bonnie is to predictable and to slow for Sophie who has no problem dominating the first round and ending it on a high note with a few uppercuts.
Round 2: More less the same; Bonnie is reacting to slow as she struggles to defend most of Sophie’s attacks and the punches she throws are weaker and less precise than Sophie’s. Bonnie’s stomach is starting to turn red from of the punishment so Sophie goes upstairs with a few hooks connecting them with jabs straight to the nose.
Round 3: Bonnie is getting slower each round and with a bleeding nose and lip it’s not looking good for her. On the other hand, Sophie isn’t pulling any punches as she ups the hurt hoping for an early knockout. She might be in a lot of trouble but Bonnie is still standing strong as she absorbs a beatdown for the third round in a row.
Round 4: With knees bucking, multiple cuts on her face and a red belly Bonnie desperately starts throwing punches hoping for a miraculous knockdown. Sophie successfully dodges all of them and penetrates Bonnie’s defences again turning this round into another one sided beatdown.
Round 5: Bonnie’s running on fumes as Sophie rushes towards her at full speed. Sophie walks her into a corner and issues another beatdown. After ten seconds which seemed like ten minutes for Bonnie the referee stops the fight and declares Sophie the winner.

Fight 3: Clémence Poésy vs Emilia Clarke
Round 1: Clémence may have the speed but Emilia has the tactics as she baits Clémence into an early uppercut and a knockdown in the 17th second. Clémence gets up at four but Emilia is right behind her and lands quite a few shots to her temple. As Clémence defends her head Emilia goes for the body making Clémence go down for a second time. She gets up at five and with high alert, avoiding conflict for the rest of the round.
Round 2: Clémence tries staying away from Emilia but it backfires and she traps herself in a corner as Emilia goes to work, hurting her face and body significantly. Clémence escapes but takes a lot of damage in the process.
Round 3: Clémence is still unsure how to approach Emilia and it costs her as she takes early hooks to the ribs and face. Clémence responds with an unaimed punch which Emilia ducks under and responds with an uppercut sending Clémence to the canvas as she fails to beat the count.
Winner: Emilia Clarke [0:3]

Fight 4: Evanna Lynch vs Nathalie Emmanuel
Round 1: Wild start as both girls start trading blows as soon as the bell rings. The girls are only separated when the bell rings to signal the end of round one with both of them returning to their corner bloodied and bruised and with cruel intentions.
Round 2: Mostly same as round with both girls rushing towards each other and trading blows without thinking but this time around the clash ends early. Evanna stars pulling her punches and holding onto her ribs as she falls onto the canvas and barely beats the count.
Round 3: Evanna enters round three with a bruised rib and an uncomfortable look on her face. Nathalie sees she’s hurt and goes on the offence with cruel intentions. Evanna solders on ropeside as Nathalie delivers a ruthless beatdown.
Round 4: Evanna enters the round with breathing troubles as Nathalie goes in for the kill. She beats on Evanna stomach along the ropes until the ref steps in and stops the fight. Evanna plummets to the canvas as the med tem checks her out.
Winner: Nathalie Emmanuel [0:4]

Fight 5: Scarlett Byrne vs Maisie Williams
Round 1: Maybe switching Helena Bonham Carter was a bad idea after all as Scarlett fails to land and block a punch the entire round. She’s barely a challenge for Maisie as she picks her apart without much effort.
Round 2: Despite the previous round beatdown Scarlett is ready for more and she goes on the offence. Maisie reads her like a book; she’s counterattacking or avoiding anything Scarlett throws at her making it seem all too easy.
Round 3: Scarlett doesn’t seem to be learning from her mistakes as she goes on the offence again only to be outclassed by a much more tactical Maisie. Maisie again finds her way around Scarlett’s attacks and sends a pair of hook her way. Scarlett takes the attack well and tries to land a counterattack of her own only to be outclassed again.
Round 4: Scarlett is just a too dull of an opponent for Maisie who decimates at will. Poking her belly with jabs then moving upstairs with hooks, back downstairs now attacking the ribs… It’s all too much for Scarlett as she starts sliding down the ropes giving the win to Nathalie.

A rough day for the Potter girls as they go without a single victory and lose the third round in a row.
