This is the second round (out of five) in my Franchise Battles: Harry Potter vs Game of Thrones. The theme for the first round was kickboxing but the theme for this round will be wrestling. Enjoy

Fight 1: Emma Watson vs Maisie Williams Emma Watson spent the whole fight dominating Maisie who only responded with shouts, insults and an occasional punch or two which didn’t seem to bother Emma at all. To her credit Maisie was nimble and used that to her advantage managing to get away from most of Emma’s attacks but playing defence wasn’t going to win her the fight and it was only a matter of time before Emma caught her. Maisie found herself in a boston crab and Emma wasn’t letting go. The only resistance coming out of Maisie was “bit*h” and “cu*t” as she was desperately stuck. After a while Emma let go of her only to catch her again, this time in a headscissor as Maisie’s head started to turn red. Just as she was ready to tap out Emma released the grip. Emma spread Maisie’s legs and delivered a few kicks to the groin. After she got tired of that Emma yanked Maisie to her feet only to chokeslam her to back to the mat. With Maisie lying on the floor in pain Emma decided to wrap things up with a school girl pin and a few slaps until Maisie finally tapped out.

Fight 2: Bonnie Wright vs Emilia Clarke
A less one sided match than the first one but it ultimately led to Emilia on top. Bonnie was a much tougher opponent than Maisie and put up much more of a fight but she still found herself on the floor with Emilia sitting on her legs delivering powerful belly punches as Bonnie desperately tried to escape. After a while Bonnie managed to escape but not without taking a lot of damage in the process. She attempted to get behind Emilia and trap her in a sleeper hold but Emilia was too fast for already hurting Bonnie and trapped her in an armbar. Emilia let go of Bonnie only to yank her to her feet and continue the punishment. Bonnie found herself trapped again, this time in an arm wringer. After that Emilia hurt Bonnie with a long bear hug after which she let her drop to the ground and punish her with a crotch stomp. With Bonnie barely conscious Emilia finished her of via backbreaker after which Bonnie screamed “I give up!”

Fight 3: Clémence Poésy vs Natalie DormerBoth girls gave it their all and kept besting each other but one had to come on top and after a long while Natalie did but by that happened both girls were quite worn out. Both girls were laying on the floor tired and breathing heavily. After two whole minutes one nothing, Natalie finally made a move. She crawled up to Clémence and delivered more than a few hard punches to her groin. Clémence’s only respond were painful moans. After that Natalie turned Clémence on her belly and held her in a single leg boston crab. Natalie grip wasn’t nearly strong enough so Clémence’s leg slipped and hit Natalie straight in the face knocking her to the ground. Clémence tried to get on top but Natalie reacted quick enough and caught her in a headscissor. Natalie released the grip after a while, then climbed on top her and delivered repetitive punches to Clémence’s tits. With no energy left and no option, Clémence tapped out.

Fight 4: Evanna Lynch vs Sophie Turner Unlike the third fight this was another one sided showdown with Sophie Turner doing what she pleases with Evanna Lynch. From various submission holds to pinning manoeuvres as well as predicting Evanna’s every move, Sophie bested her early and put her skills to use. Evanna had bruises all over her body and barely and energy to fight but her stubbornness was the only reason she didn’t quit. Sophie held her in an abdominal stretch with one hand and delivered belly punches with her other, after that she threw Evanna to the canvas and stomped her belly until it turned red. Sophie got Evanna on her feet by forcefully pulling her, shoved her again the wall and delivered a knee to the belly. Sophie kept her hand on Evanna’s hair and hurt her with a crotch claw before letting her plumber to the ground. Without any will to fight left, Evanna finally mustered “I quit.”

Fight 5: Helena Bonham Carter vs Nathalie EmmanuelHelena Bonham Carter definitely put up a fight, but her age is what kept her back against a much younger, swifter and stronger Nathalie. Whenever Helena would attempt and attack Nathalie would find a way around it and turn it to her advantage. Helena found herself nearly breathless in a short period of time and being caught in a bearhug wasn’t helping. Helena simply didn’t have the strength to match Nathalie and couldn’t do anything about it. On the other hand, Nathalie was having a lot of fun tossing her opponent around like a ragdoll. Helena wasn’t thinking she’s going to pull of comeback so without second thinking she tapped out. Disappointed look on Nathalie’s face as she thought she was going to have a bit more fun.
