Franchise Battles: Harry Potter vs Game of Thrones [4/5]
« on: June 14, 2019, 09:07:54 AM »
This is my first upload in three weeks. I got really busy but I should (I think at least) be uploading twice a week for the next 5-6 months. Anyhow here is the forth round in my 1st Franchise Battle:

This is the fourth round (out of five) in my Franchise Battles: Game of Thrones vs Harry Potter. The theme for this round is a “No rules” fight. Meaning that any fighting style is allowed, but biting, scratching, eye poking and such other moves are disallowed.
You can find other rounds here:

Fight 1: Emma Watson vs Emilia Clarke

Round 1: Emma with an offensive flurry early, catching Emilia off-guard and stunning her. Emma maximizing of her early attack, throwing punches and kicks from all directions. Emilia doing her best to block Emma’s attack but most of them penetrate her defences. Tough round for Emilia as Emma wins this one by a landslide.

Round 2: Emma with another aggressive attack, breaching trough Emilia’s defences again putting her on the receiving end of another beating, this time resulting in a few bruises around the body and a cut lip. Another round easily won by Emma.

Round 3: Emma goes back to work as she hits Emilia with another barrage of punches and kicks. Emilia remains defenceless for the third round in a row, stuck to the ropes as Emma ups the hurt.

Round 4: Emilia starts slowing down, she’s soldiering on as Emma stalks her around the ring with cruel intentions. Emma enjoying herself as she tosses Emilia around the ring sticking her mittens to Emilia’s belly colouring it red winning another round by a landslide.

Round 5: Emilia enters round five with buckling knees and arms hanging low as Emma moves in and finisher her off. After a few measly hits Emilia drops and doesn’t bother getting up as Emma wins the fight with ease.

Winner: Emma Watson  [1:0]

Fight 2: Bonnie Wright vs Nathalie Emmanuel

Round 1: Same as Emma, Bonnie goes in the offensive and lands some hooks across Nathalie’s face, then hurts the body. Bonnie mostly in charge in round one, Nathalie protest and lands some blows back but not enough to keep Bonnie off her.

Round 2: Same as round one Bonnie remains aggressive as Nathalie does her best to keep Bonnie of her. She succeeds for a while but Bonnie remains persistent, combining punches and kicks to send Nathalie off balance. Another round won by Bonnie.

Round 3: Now that she’s combining kicks to hurt Nathalie’s legs and punches to hurt her face, Bonnie has Nathalie where she wants her. Nathalie’s being tossed around the ring as Bonnie uses full force to hurt her and wins round three big.

Round 4: The match comes to a close as Bonnie finishes of Nathalie with minimal effort. A few more punches are kicks are enough to send Nathalie to the ground and doesn’t get up. Win number two for Harry Potter gals.

Winner: Bonnie Wright  [2:0]

Fight 3: Clémence Poésy vs Maisie Williams

Round 1:  Much more of a closer contest that the first two fight as both girls give their best displaying a fancy set of skills. The first round leads to a conclusion with both fighters determined looking to hurt each other in the next few rounds.

Round 2:  The contest is still close but the girls are using all of their energy so it’s only a matter of time when one of them slows down. Clémence gets sneaky. The goes on the defence luring Maisie to attack and baits her with two hooks giving her a slight edge going into round three.

Round 3: Maisie more cautious but so is Clémence. Instead of hard offence both of them play it defensively and go forward with attacks only when they have a chance. It leads up to a few bruises from each side but still no sign of the fight concluding.

Round 4: The rounds starts of like the previous one with the girls high on alert. Until Maisie goes on the aggressive again and STRIKES Clémence with an uppercut knocking her out. Win number one from GoT gals as Maisie changes the pace and completely surprises Clémence.

Winner: Maisie Williams [2:1]

Fight 4: Evanna Lynch vs Nathalie Dormer

Round 1:  Evanna is no match for Nathalie as she tosses her around the ring at will. Mixing low kicks making her limp, then moving to her ribs slowing her down even further and finally throwing jabs and hooks around her face as she’s stuck to the ropes.

Round 2:  Hurt and still stuck to ropes Evanna tries to best to counter Nathalie but she’s too slow to even get out of the ropes as Nathalie finishes her off with ease. Evanna defeated in just two round (shortest in the contest so far) as Nathalie celebrates the second win for GoT girls.

Winner: Nathalie Dormer [2:2]

Fight 5: Scarlett Byrne vs Sophie Turner

Round 1: 5’3” Scarlett vs 5’9” Sophie. Scarlett has difficulties keeping up with her opponent as Sophie stays out of range and hurts Scarlett before she can move in.  Round easily won by Sophie who uses her height to her advantage

Round 2: Scarlett more offensive in this round. She lands a few jabs to Sophie’s belly but not enough to send her off balance. Another round won by Sophie as she mixes hooks across the face to cut Scarlett’s cheeks and lip.

Round 3: Scarlett just can’t figure out her opponent. She’s too short to fight in the middle and not tactical enough to come up with another strategy. Sophie doesn’t need any new strategies as she moves in with a few uppercuts and sends Scarlett down to her feet as she doesn’t get up.  Win number three for Got girls.

Winner: Sophie Turner [2:3]

Round 4 Winner: Game of Thrones (2:3) [0:4]

Four wins in a row really discourage Harry Potter gals. They can’t win (as they lost 4 out of 5 rounds) but they still have one round to prove they’re capable fighters. Or are they?
