Hair pulling contests in college dorm rooms

i am sure this does occur,rarely?, but how is it organized as in do say 2 girls go around the dorm and look for open doors,introduce themselves and say "we r having a hair pulling contest in room 407 bout 9p before we go out. want to join us?" or something to that effect. tyia
