organized South American female fight festival

Hey everyone!

A couple of weeks ago, there was a thread about organized female fights.  I mentioned the South American festivals featuring fist fights between men and women.

Here's a link to the 2016 Takanakuy festival for women's fights.  It's an hour long, but if you like to see two women or girls face off in a good fist fight, you'll like it.  Although I prefer a good old fashioned hair pulling catfight, some of these fights aren't too bad.

I'm really taken by this.  What's this all about?  Do the women chose their opponents?  Are there issues between the two combatants or is this just open competition, i.e. nothing personal?
