Why in the world would UFC want PVZ and Sage to lose? Sorry my friend, that makes zero sense.

Yeah that's just silly they want PVZ to lose.

Here is UFC's problem though.  They're hitching their wagons to Sage and PVZ when neither are that good.

Sure, put PVZ against a person ranked 13th-20th and she is fine.   However, put her against someone even reasonably talented and she's just exposed.   She was destroyed by Rose Namajunas and Waterson and neither of those fighters (especially Rose) are title contenders.

Nothing to do with being lazy. I have written numerous thousand word plus stories on this board for starters.  All non licensed UFC fights without masking are taken off YT whether they are on this board or not.  And I am not uploading UFC copyrighted material to VK on a site that is linked to my phone number.

Both of them are very young and marketable.  Rose and Waterson are not title contenders only because Joanna and Claudia are on another level.  They are as good as anyone else.  Paige has beaten talented fighters.

The UFC powers that be have to be unhappy with the folding that Miesha Tate and Paige Van Zant both did
in the first round of fights where they were the top of the card.  Dana White has to want a bit more staying
power out of the women who he is featuring.  First round choke outs don't sell tickets and PPV's to the next
big event.

Jessiefite - well-said.  And while the same goes for the men (very few people enjoy main events ending in the first round), it's just a little bit more critical for the women's weight classes.  In my opinion it's too bad that the Smith/Aldana fight was not on the main card - it was my choice for fight of the night, and it delivered what the Vanzant/Waterson fight lacked.  Here's hoping that Nunes/Rousey delivers - and at the same time, props to Waterson fr doing exactly what she needed to do to take out PVZ.
