That is the famous scene that was a replay of a real life fight...Linda Evans and Stephanie Powers had gone to high school together and actually fought over a boy IRL.

I loved this fight on McCloud, but poor Stefanie never wins.  She never won a fight as April Dancer in The Girl From Uncle and she never prevailed as Jennifer Hart in Hart to Hart.

As for the alleged high school fight with Linda Evans, I think that is pure wishful fiction that has made its way through the internet for many years.  While it's true that both women attended Hollywood High, I don't recall any creditable source backing up this story.  Hell, do you think that the supposed guy wouldn't have made this public knowledge?????

I'm too young to remember these things, but I've learned from my elders that Stephanie Powers
was involved in a lot of on-screen fights.  Seeing re-runs of her has always sparked my interest,
as I love her look.  And I found that there was an old movie that had extensive scenes of her being
overpowered by an athletic but less attractive actress.  It was a bit of a dream come true making
this discovery.  The title is "Die! Die! My Darling!," where a hot young Stephanie is held captive by
an athletic henchwoman to a rich woman who is nuts. Yootha Joyce, as Anna, roughs up Stephanie
repeatedly.  Look it up.  You may enjoy it.

I remember reading the article in an 80's issue of TV Guide of all places.   Linda Evans acknowledged that it happened, in a laughing kind of manner...and acknowledged that Powers had won the fight.  That part of the article was related to the catfights that Evans was having with Joan Collins on at least 2 episodes of Dynasty.
