California Dolls/For All the Marbles Mud Wrestling Scene ?

Hello All,

For all the marbles was a movie from the 80's about two beatiful tag team female competitve wrestlers. There was a scene where they mud wrestled another tag team and they got really roughed up and beat pretty bad. Am I remembering this right?  I remember it being very hot.  Any thoughts or does anyone else remember the scene. Thanks!

You're right, it was a very hot scene, especially for the times.  The match took place at a state fair, but the outcome was not really made clear.  The scene ended with people leaving, then cut to the next scene where the two Dolls were angry with Peter Falk for subjecting them to such humiliation.  The interesting thing about this scene was that all four of the women ended up topless, which was a real first for a mainstream movie, and a dream come true for CF lovers.

Your memory is correct. It was s very hot scene and in my opinion the hottest mud wrestling scene to this date. Great you tube find by Wild at heart.  The movie version is slightly different. It shows the crowds reaction as  the crowd cheers and laughs as both The Dolls get handled and stripped by their opponents.  Although the outcome isn't defined it was clear that both of The Dolls were clearly being dominated physically and mentally by their opponents. The next scene shows the brunette doll crying with a terrible bloody lip that she received during the match.

Wow thanks for including the clip WAH! Just as hot as I remember.  A few folks have told me that there is several different versions of the scene in the movie. Would love to see them all. Thanks for the comments and if anyone else has an opinion would love to hear from you.

Mud Wrestling was huge in 1981. I use to go to a bar that feetured mud wrestling every Tuesday & Wednesday. Girls off the street could sign up to wrestle. It got pretty serious at times. I tried to get my wife at the time to sign up. No luck.

What happened in that scene is my dream scenario. Four girls getting out of hand deciding to rip each others tops off unplanned! I've stated in the comments before this movie was the catalyst for my catfight/wam wrestling love. Anybody know where to find the TV edited version? The mud scene is longer and is shot from different angles I guess to compensate for the lack of nudity.

they had mud wrestling at gilleys in las vegas years ago. i would plan my trips just to attend the matches!

Hollywood if you're listening...PLEASE  make a remake of ...All the Marbles, also make sure it has an R rating.

I wasn't even close to being born when this was created but wow this was hot!  The blonde woman looks tough! She tosses the brunette around the mud pit like she is a rag doll.

Some useless information about this scene:

1) No stunt doubles. It is the lead actresses Vicki Frederick and Laurence Landon in the mud
2) The actresses did not shoot the first time topless. Apparently when the director found out he was furious and made the girls te-shoot to a topless ending!!

Amazing scene. I love it. Great movie too but there must be so much footage of the mud wrestling on the cutting room floor. Enough to make a video of that alone !! What a tragic waste!!

Correct. They were very visible in the movie "Stripes". Susan was dressed as the teacher and Leslie I believe was dressed as a sailor in the classic mud wrestling scene with the late great John Candy
