There's also a nude match at 1:15.   The ladies fight & then get romantic.

It's a classic for us lovers of female fights. It was produced in Italy and the original title, "Le Guerriere dal Seno Nudo" (translated, "The Bare-Breasted She-Warriors") is even hotter than the English version. ;)

I've also seen a couple of different clips of the fight in the tent during the thunderstorm, where they rub oil on themselves before they fight.  One version is pretty dark, and it's hard to see the action.  But there's a much lighter version of this scene where the fight is much more visible.  Also, this movie was also sometimes entitled, The Amazons.

I really believe this movie is the gold standard for which all other movie catfights are measured.  I realize many others won't agree with that, but for those catfight fans who love to see two beautiful women fight each other nude, and body to body, there's just nothing else like it.

The best in movies all-time!!

It is something I used to look out for when I rented out video tapes in the early 80's but never saw this movie, I liked the fantasy of warrior women and there were lots of movies with the same theme - Red Sonja Brigitte Nielsen and "SHE" Sandahl Bergman spring to mind.

I worked at a drive in in 1972 and read about this movie in Boxoffice magazine. The review described
both fight scenes and I was so eager to see it. But the damn thing never showed up at the theaters
in my hometown of KC. I even found a foto spread in Oui magazine of two girls training topless for the fight scenes.
Two years later I was working at an indoor theater and got to meet a bigwig
from American International, who was supposed to release the film in the US. I asked him what happened
to the film's release and he told me that it under performed so they pulled it from a wide release! It wasn't
until the 80's where I got to see a screening of it in Chicago by a friend of mine who located a print that
was sitting in the vault there. He screened it for me and a bunch of my friends showed up to watch it as
well on a giant movie screen. He even made a bootleg copy of the two fight scenes for me on VHS which
I owned for many years. Strangely enough I have a copy of the second fight in the film that appears to
have been shot for TV when the nudie version was also shot. I'll try and post it sometime. 8)

Floon, was the movie rated X when it first came out?  It wouldn't be by today's standards, but several movies that came out back in the 70's that were originally rated X were later downgraded to R.  A Clockwork Orange comes to mind.  It was an X rated movie when I saw it at the theater, but is now R.

You don't have to see the entire staircase to miss the first 3 steps and fall headfirst into that final tumble.
When you've run out of time for 12 steps come visit us at "Step 13" (At a neighborhood near you).  HH drink specials for 1st & 5 yr pins.

No American International released it as an R- rated softcore nudie type flick.
The weird thing is that they actually thought audiences would embrace it as
a historical action movie. The reason why there were two sexy fight scenes is
because Terrance Young was obviously into catfight sequences. He did From Russia
with Love, The Poppy is also a Flower, and finally War Goddess. I wonder if he
got the CF bug after doing From Russia, which actually had a catfight in the novel
that finished stark naked!
