As a supplement to my previous post about female's application of the butt-drag, this medley of highlights from women's wrestling matches feature an array of controversial tactics administered by the dominant lady to literally gain the upper hand on her helpless opponent.

The dark side of women freestyle wrestling, or maybe the light hearted side? you be the judge it is a compilation of videos of dirty and illegal moves used in bouts all over the world in international and local female wrestling competitions and tournaments:

1-   _At_ 0:16 the american wrestler (jaynese leigh) in blue squeezes and press her hungarian (barka emese) opponent's neck after the match has ended and then move on top of her doing it again in poor sportsmanship.

2-   2- _At_ 1:01 Japanese wrestler (Kaori Icho) trying to insult and humiliate her american (Sara Mcmann) rival by slapping her on the butt after the matches ended, you can see the american reacted but the Japanese ran away to avoid her.

3-   3- _At_ 1:14 wrestler in red started a fist fight with wrestler in blue at the end of the match because she lost.

4-   4- _At_ 1:41 Japanese wrestler (Yoshida Saori) in blue insulting and humiliating her Canadian (Tonya verbeek) rival by slapping her on the butt just like her teammate did in 1:01

5-   5- _At_ 1:54 after the round ended you can see the Japanese wrestler grabbing and fingering her Canadian opponent deliberately.

6-   6- _At_ 2:05 the Chines wrestler in red have started to fight dirty and the Russian in blue replied in the same way, fingering, eyes poking and choking.

7-   7- At 4:08 the Ukrainian in blue (irini Merlini), using Venezuelan's opponent bra and singlet almost exposing her breast to get the pin.

8-   8- _At_ 4:49 the Japanese wrestler in blue should be nicknamed the anal hunter, as this her favorite move and have been doing it many times in this match and in many other matches.

9-   9- _At_ 5:30 wrestler in blue has urinated, sorry i should have highlighted it.

To put it in simple terms when it comes to international competitions, it's best throw out every Western value you may have as it just dark side. Nationalism, xenophobia, racism, imperialistic overtones all play a role and while the participant herself might not be personally responsible, she still is liable.

That was fantastic!

I'm going to say something here that I hope doesn't offend anyone, but women can be vicious!  And they do sports with a "take no prisoners" attitude.

I'm amazed watching women's soccer.  When men's teams play, if two player collide, or one fouls the other, a lot of times the player still standing will offer a hand up to the player who was fouled.  But I don't see it much when women play.

I realize these things don't always occur, and there is plenty of dirty play between men doing sports.  But it just seems women really go at each other, whatever the sport.

Sorry if I offended anyone.  It's just my observations.

Just one small observation: Zidane's headbutt. As for men not playing dirty: I've heard about waterpolo players whose nut was ripped off, then there was also the Blood in the Water match. Women bottle up a lot of frustration that they unload on the opponent.

This video was definitely made by someone who doesn't do any Olympic wrestling. That putting your hand on your opponent's butt is not remotely controversial it is just a good grip and you can see it in almost every men or womens match. It's neither sexual nor intended to humiliate your opponent.

What about the urination?  Is that standard as well? ;-)
