I was never a huge Crystal videos fan. But their video hosts were always so hot. Does anyone have a list of who they were or know if any of them appeared in any of their matches or anything? I remember one who talked smack, but I dunno if she ever came back or did anything. Also curious if anyone knows the history or behind the scenes of Crystal...How they started, how they found their girls. How they found the hosts. Just curious stuff to know.

I know this thread isn't about Crystal, but since it's been bought up, I'll add my 2-cents worth....I think Crystal set the standard for companies that produced real catfights between real, everyday women.  With the exception of their videos that were theme based, their real catfights were just that...real fights.  No models, no stripping off clothes, and some of the women were not beautiful.  But they fought each other for real, and mostly with very few rules.

I've yet to see a catfight producer since Crystal offer up what they did.  I would love to see them come back into business, or for someone with the money and connections to pick up where they left off.

I just never got into the whole fist fighting thing. To me, it's too brutal/barbaric and with unskilled people they aren't too entertaining. Now like, MMA is cool, because they're skilled and it's great to see their technique, but I watch that for different reasons than why I watch catfighting. But most fist fights seem to be a bunch of wild hits, pinning someone down, and wailing on them until they give. Though I will say, they did have some hot girls. Hunter and the one brunette she faced (began with an A I believe) were both gorgeous. Wish they'd have done wrestling/catfighting for other companies. Some of their hostesses, which is why I was curious if anyone know their names so I could see if they were in any matches or anything.

But to each their own. I can understand why some people enjoy them. I don't really look down on people for it, as long as they understand and aren't hoping for blood and gore. I do feel bad for the girls, since I feel most were poor and needed money and they only did it for that reason, but some I'm sure enjoyed it.

I can understand that. There were only a few fights that were IMO hard to watch. One fight in particular both girls were in lingerie and was between a blonde and a brunette the blonde mercilessly just kept pounding the brunette in the face for maybe three rounds to the point where the brunettes face was swollen that was a little too much but most  of their fights were Suitfights level of violence. I to never cared for really violent catfights that's why I never really was interested at all in the Queen of the Hood DVDs and stuff like that.
