Certificate Issues

I try logging in and browser, duck-duck says that site certificates have expired, am only here on the take risk and go there. Certificates are usually handled by site, so...not sure if they need renewals or what. Iwas kind of vague earlier, I got message saying (warned);with this message...This Connection is Not Private...This website has an expired certificate.  This websites certificate expired today at 1125. This may happen if the website is misconfigured, and attacker has compromised your connection.
