Such a shame. This site it seems almost never has any new or good stories anymore. No DottiD or Jon Grey or Jotnancy or any of the great authors thst used to write. Its really unfortunate

There are some new talents here, but I agree that master like Jon Grey, Augur, Dotti and Susanoom are rare.

Then go away and don't complain about the site which is...(consults notes) provided free of charge.

When people do provide content here, the "fans" pressure them into an unsustainable production schedule that inevitably burns them out, or demand that they change what the author is doing to meet their tastes instead.

I swear to god, this kink has the most....selfish...infantile...demanding... and creepy base. It's embarrassing to share kinks with y'all sometimes.

I recently received a comment on a story that complained that they didn't like the title....

And I agree that a significant proportion of comments are essentially "Good story BUT..."

Yes, free country and all that - but I will say that getting no positive reinforcement or worse getting nitpicking criticism simply saps motivation from any prospective author.

Even worse the blanket commendation of not being any good. The thread was moved from sexfighting by myself. Which averages 20-30 new threads a month. Which either isn't enough to read in a month or all those writers are awful in their mind. Man I can't imagine needing to read that much sexfight stories.

AN even worst fate is the producers who get demands for the "unscripted fight... that meets these ten criteria that sure sounds like you would need a script for"
Don't mistake lack of talent for genius.
Once the cyberfighter slop is removed from the site, things will improve

Yip, to both comments above! Sadly agree!  :-\

Proudly butch and living as a 'man'. In this catfight fantasy there are no losers, and in the end all should be winners!

Maybe it is harder to surprise you with age, it's not writers' fault.

I left out BCW. Another great writer. And it was by no means to not appreciate anyone who spends time writing in here. I apologize if it came off that way. Aa a soldier who has been deployed twice now its one of the few enjoyment I have. But truly sorry if it came off disrespectful. And thank you to all of the wonderful writers and people on here.

There are new stories being written, and appearing on this site.

Remember, only so much can be written, before an author will either run out of ideas, thoughts, or they simply lose interest.

There's also the problem of some writers receiving abuse. I had correspondence with Martian Boy recently, he used to be on this site, and mostly wrote stories based on real fights. He's lost interest about writing, due to abuse. He was also accused of copying an idea from another story. It was about that time, he called it a day.

Here's an idea, how about writing a great story yourself?

I don't do any chat, but you can PM if you need to.

Nick-You've received alot of insights here from the posts before my response. And I'd like to say that you have made the correct initial response from the criticism of your complaint. You apologized. Well done, but I might suggest that you can take more steps which will enable you to more easily find and contact others who share your interests. Consider filling out your profile. Specific interests might compel others to more directly feed your needs through story telling (and receiving). As a retired  soldier, who deployed several times over a full career, I understand the joys of our shared interests (addiction).
See how easy that is? We all know a little more about each other, and can more readily decide whether this exchange might lead to more sharing. Good luck! And thanks to all who responded so respectfully to Nick's lament. And thanks to all of the contributors here...writers, teasers, fighters, and the rest. Devon

Out of curiosity, if you're not happy with the "quality" and output of free stories on this site, why not write on your own?

I know I have my own preferences and fetishes, and when I can't find a story that appeals to my desires, I take that as an opportunity to flex my creative muscles and write my own story. You don't have to publish it (I don't with mine,) but it can be fun to write and even revisit some time later!

And if you are also that unhappy with what is being uploaded, then consider uploading your stories! Be the change that you want to see!

What's the goal here, to dissuade people from writing?

As a voracious reader of all kinds of genres, I love the authors mentioned here, especially the great DottiD and her Peggy stories, which for me marked a turning point on this site. Those long stories, told in chapters that are seamlessly woven together, with characters so charismatic they stick in your memory, and a narrative structure that draws you into the story so deeply it feels like you're living it, eagerly waiting for the next chapter to appear. As I always like to say, great novels with catfights (what more could you ask for?)
However, it's tremendously unfair to praise those authors only to criticize the current ones, who publish their stories for free, and several of whom are, in my opinion, extraordinarily talented. CoffeeMug and bcw8 immediately come to mind. "Swampland" and especially "Mad Women" by CoffeeMug are incredible experiences to read and reread, and is currently writing "LA Women", which is on its way to being another masterpiece. Bcw8 is so talented that everything he does is pure gold. Janine_G writes many high-quality short stories, and recently Kerfuffling blew me away with his last two stories, especially "Evil Stepmom Fights Heroic Babysitter." These are just a few examples of the enormous talent on this site.
Practicing gratitude is a great habit for a better life, and I agree that on this site I get the feeling we're not very grateful.

I agree 100% with JT and Drake8.

This is a library.  A library has thousands of books in it.   We don't read them all, just the ones we are interested in.  We don't concern ourselves with the thousands of books we don't read, just the ones we do.  If we don't like the last book we read, simply move on to another book, even those that have been in the library a while that we haven't got to, or even to re-read ones we have read before and enjoyed.

Writing is hard.  Most don't even try.  I appreciate those who try and publish their efforts here.

Thank you to all of the authors who have graced these pages through the last couple of decades.

I've just had an email from Martian Boy, who used to be a member and wrote some stories here. He no longer writes due to abuse he's received. He still looks at this site. He's looked at this thread, and told me it can take several days to write a story about a catfight.

Martian Boy's quote:- "When a person tells me about a fight they've watched, or in a couple of cases, they've been in a fight themselves, talking is one thing, but writing it down in a descriptive way, is far from easy. Some people who attempt to write about a fight, suddenly find out, the fight can be written down in a couple of sentences. Hardly riveting reading. Try describing the women's reactions when they are both pulling each other's hair. Try describing the way a woman is crying, when the fight is over. It's not easy. Well done to those who have even tried."
