Overall, it's a pretty nice look. I would like a bit more color contrast in things like the new posts, etc., but this is already much cleaner looking and much easier to read.

I'll join in as hoping that liking posts and a few other simple features come back, but otherwise it's really just color contrast (and maybe variety) that needs a bit of fine tuning.

You can switch dark/light with the sun/moon icon in the top bar, left of FREECATFIGHTS and on the bottom of the site you can pick out of 3 colors, the little balls. Maybe another color gives you a nicer contrast.

Thanks, the dark mode with green layout is easiest on the eyes. Still lacking some brightness, but not bad at all.

     How do we look at pictures on the profiles? You used to be able to just click on them and they would open in whatever size they were on a page. doesn't make much sense to have pictures posted no-one can look at. All that happens when you click on a pic is the profile simply refreshes. Not to mention the profile pics themselves are mere tiny thumbnails.
And I do not like this layout at all.

Compared with the average systems migration - were such a thing ever to exist! - can imagine this one posed, and is continuing to pose, significant challenges.

Thank you so much for the many hours of hard labour & head-scratching put in to deliver a free-of-charge service for all of us, and best of luck with the troubleshooting.

As someone who's done this sort of migration many times before, the fact that it's been done to the level it has is a great achievement.  Thank you to the admins for keeping things running without any data/account losses.

One thing that probably would have helped in this situation was some communication about the change prior to it happening.  I did a quick scan and I didn't see anything that was obviously posted, so apologies if I missed something here, but it is a bit weird seeing everything change like this.  Where I work, we are required to put out messaging when a major change happens to ensure everyone's on the same page.  Probably could have avoided a bit of angst.

Ultimately everyone will get used to the new look and feel, I think the key part is, the forum is still around and all the historical posts/accounts are still here too.  As I said, great job there.

I am also unable to view pictures. Not sure if it?��s a mobile thing, but this becoming very problematic.

Profile functionality is still being worked on guys. Like pictures, comments, the ability to alter your ultimate profile etc.. So we will see what happens. We don't have an army of programmers working on this and the module for it was not anything really kept current. (as in the guy who created it I think updated it maybe 5years ago )

And I found out about this when you guys did. Life is too short to worry.

it's on the list. SMF i think once tried to re-invent the wheel to handle none latin1 character sets. " ' `

But if you can tell how you can manage to produce this error. Then i can more easily tackle it perhaps. Because when i use quotes, i don't have this issue at all?

Just type any English word that uses an apostrophe and it should error, such as:

You re
Don t

Then same words with apostrophe:

You?��re
Don?��t
