Old head lurker that just happened to check this site out at the right time. I remember my mom coming home from work in 1978 with a box full of wrestling magazines. The May 1978 issue of Sports Review Wrestling was my introduction to apartment house wrestling, and to this day they're still my favorite pictorials. As I got older I picked up some of the Catfight magazines like Catfights Galore and Fighting Hellcats. I had a ton of the old Triumph Studios brochures they used to send in the mail.
It's pretty awesome anytime there's new pictures found of a classic AHW match. I'd say my top three matches were...

Emma vs Billy Jo: This photos in this I feel are the absolute best. There isn't a single pic where one isn't grimacing and digging their nails into the other. Just a great match. I've seen the stuff from Nugget which is great. Hope to see some more new pics of that one someday.

Shani vs Delius: A few new pics of these two have popped up here and there. Hoping to eventually come across some topless ones.

Kathy vs Eloise: It's really tough only picking three but I have the Ben Strong issue of these two from 1975, and it's just a great matchup.

Well this begs the question.....what was your mother doing with a box of wrestling magazines?

She knew I liked wrestling because I'd watch it with my Dad. Who she got them from I'm not sure, but it was a bunch of the different publications, with Sports Review being among them.

Emma vs Billie Jo is my favorite SRW apartment match ever. Kathy vs Eloise is a great match too. I thought Eloise was the sexier of the two, but Kathy was hot too. One thing for certain is that ads and SRW Apartment Wrestling hooked a lot of us on female wrestling.

Quote from: lumberjack66 on March 17, 2026, 07:07:44 PMFor me it started with a catfight that I saw in the park near my home followed by watching "From Russia with Love" and "!0 Million Years BC" with my dad.  After that I was hooked.  My first magazine I think was called Wrestling Review.  It had a monthly article about some secret underground apartment catfight league.  I was young enough and dumb enough to believe the league was a real thing.  That there really were some wealthy men with their own stable of fighters pitting their champion against others in secret apartments.  I didn't feel anxious at all about buying it as it was just a "normal" wrestling magazine.  But I did make sure my mom didn't find them in my bedroom.  Later my friends father had a complete collection of porn magazines that we all went through one time with at a sleep over.  One of them was all about catfights.  Two others had a catfight feature.  This would have been in the mid 70's I think.

Was the same for me. Watching the gypsy fight in "From Russia with Love" got me hooked and seeing other fights (eg "1 Million Years BC") merely confirmed my love and excitement for female fights.
When I was a student in London there were various bookshops in Soho selling specialist fetish magazines. My heart missed a beat or two once I saw the section reserved for female fighting...
Longtime fan of catfights. Also love family fights
