Adding Buddies

How do I send a buddy request? Or if the other person has sent me one, and I approve it is the return request automatic, or would I be auto added to their buddy list once I approve them to be added to mine?
As a suggestion, a tutorial might me nice for the more common questions being asked. Thanks for your help.

To add someone to your buddy list go to their profile under where it says contact me you will see "add to buddy list" click on that. Yes once you approve someone who has sent you a buddy request you are auto added to the persons buddy list.
