Surprised to discover?

Of all your family/friends/acquaintances, who would most surprise you to learn they had a real interest in having an irl arranged match?...or were actually involved in participating irl arranged matches already?

It was my wife's best friend. Long story short my wife wanted to try out a woman and I told her that would be fine as long as I was there and she wrestled or had a catfight with her afterwards. She decided to ask her best friend and she agreed with no hesitation.

It'd probably surprise me most to learn my aunt is into wrestling. She is a very "proper" woman who is quite a stickler for doing things the old way. Very religious and not really approving of outgoing women.

I could see her having the drive to wrestle but it would really throw me off to learn if she did.

I would be super surprised to learn that my mother ever had an arranged match...I bet dad would have loved it though...

My former Girlfriend Kayla. She was very beautiful, very curvy, very shy, timid kinda quiet. I would have lost it if she had a match or interest in wrestling. I never brought it up to her since she wasn't that adventurous.

I thought about this a long time.  I'd be super surprised if anybody from my Mom's side of our family had or would fight.  Just not their nature.  I am sure all of the men would enjoy seeing a fight, but can't imagine any of them suggesting it to their wives or any of the wives doing it.  Now on my Dad's side of the family I wouldn't be surprised if any of them or their wives fought for them.  My Grandfather used to just give the boys boxing gloves and send them out back to "exercise" anytime they got too rambunctious.  They kind of revel in conflict and all my uncles clearly have the same "type" (strong attractive curvy women).  In fact I'd be surprised if two of my Aunts didn't fight at some point.  They clearly hated each other, both were physically in great shape, and probably spent just a little too much time together.

I always found it surprising how many of the girls I have chatted with who have expressed interest in trying a catfight were also fairly religious, some were like frequent churchgoers.

Not that surprising.  Nothing in the good book says "Thou shall not fight competitively with vigor".
