Lie to make a match happen?

Ok guys...if you were involved with another guy arranging a match for your wife/GF would you lie to your potential opponents in order to make the match occur...downplay your wife's accomplishments/ability or win/loss record, downplay her strength, flexibility, stamina etc? Lie about her weaknesses/strengths?

Hate on me all you want, but yes. I have done (lied to both parties involved to instigate a fight) mostly unsuccessfully but it worked on a couple of occasions. And yes, is do it again in the same situation

Nope wouldn't lie I would want them to know as much about each other as possible and be as closely matched as possible, nothing better then watching 2 equally matched women who actually want to wrestle or fight and you'll see a great match, keep it honest and you see a much better match.

For the direct honest reply, hell no.

Now for the long drawn out fool-osophy behind it. I have seen my share and stirred the pot for a couple. I never said anything that was never said to me by either of them. I can't be sure or not if they ever would have met alone to fight if I was not involved, but I can say with certain confidence, my involvement made it happen faster I would wager.  Lie never, spur along yes back then when one is young and dumb. Now I would just let things happen as fate dictated. These were real fights, they were fights where serious injuries could have happened. Thankfully nothing more than split lips, black eyes, bloody noses & bruised egos took place. Hence why I am here enjoying cyber and not out actively trying to encourage these things any longer.

Didn't lie but didn't tell the whole truth. If I had told the whole truth, the fight probably would not happened. Back in my younger days when I tried to instigate fights.

My ex husband did this actually, he lied about me and our neighbour talking bad about each other, for weeks he was telling both of us that we were calling each other names (that we never did) until eventually we actually started doing it based on a lie. We soon enough went at one another in our front yards, my husband wasn't there to see it though lol
