Thanks for finding this and sharing it,  I do not think I ever saw this event before. Ok, couple minor questions.

1 do get it rights that the contest i settled between fighters when one of them are driven to their knees, or they have to be completely laid out on the ground?

What it the back story about this event? This involves women fighters, I think I saw men standing around the perimeter of the crown circle by not involved. Is there a male version of the contest some other time?

There is no distinction, or division of half of the ladies are X, and the other half are Y with x women fighting Y women. It just drop your top and fight the first women you meet in the area? It seemed to me that opponents were usually pretty evenly matches in size and build. I don't think I saw any mismatches.  Is that a rule, or are the women themselves just looking for a similar lady to fight?

Last one, where is this, and does anyone have a recommendation for a local real estate guy? I just discovered where I am spending my retirement

Very nice, but how about if all the women wore tops (no bra) and their purpose would be to rip the tops off their opponents. They could have different variety of tops (T-shirts, tank tops, button down shirts, blouses, sweaters, etc,...)

Talk about a teenage boy's dream!  Actually, when I was that age (eons ago) I used to fantasize that I joined the Peace Corps and they sent me to some faraway place where the teenage girls wrestled.  It's hard to believe that such a place really exists.  I guess that I was born too early.

I did a little digging into this.  It is from a tribe in Brazil. Once a year they have a festival to honor their ancestors and their traditions. Part of that is the ritual form of fighting seen in that clip. Men fight Men, Women fight Women, your girl fight young girls and young boys fight young boys.

Each group assembles on a field where this has been one for years. No opposite sex fighting is allowed.  Fighters walk around and look for challengers.  I think the challenge is just making some body contact.  Then the "fight" takes place,  If I have it right the object to to force your opponent to gound, mostly taking a knee, no pins, flips, power drops etc. permitted.  There is no animonisity between the fighters. As soon as someone touches the ground the match is over and the one still on two feet wins. That is why the "fights" are so brief. No one counts wins and losses.  At some point the event ends, everyone goes home. At some point the next sex and age group gathers, does the same etc.  The festival is over after all the groups have fought.
