Maui?

This isn't really a fight question but I'm hoping to get some personal insight as we are hearing conflicting opinions...we used to go to Maui every other year but haven't been back since the fires. (We have been to Kauai however)...has anyone been to Maui in the last couple of years? How is the rebuilding progressing?

We watch a video series on Youtube about it.  We only went there once and it was amazing.  Rebuilding is going super slow.  Most of the places on the water will not be rebuilt.  Zoning and prices blocking out most of the locals.  Very sad.
