I was going to get some more of this one done before posting it, but I can't help but feel too excited not to post this small preview leading up to the action of my newest story.  I hope you enjoy this one!  Please leave feedback or suggestions for what you'd like to see happen!

The smell of steaks, ribs and wood smoke were thick in the air.  The sun was just starting to dip, turning the sky a golden orange, and the air was warm but pleasant.  It was the first Saturday of September.  Labor Day Weekend.  And that meant one thing for the Arbor family.

It was the day of their big end of summer barbecue.  The party was already well underway when Ruby and Rory joined the rest of the family in their parents' backyard.  The identical twins gave everyone a big smile as they waved the extra supplies they had run to the grocery store in the air to show their mission had been a success.

Everyone had come.  Their uncles, aunts, grandparents, and numerous cousins of ages varying from five to mid thirties.  The backyard was full of family laughing, eating, and generally enjoying each other's company.  It was a perfect day, just like the family barbecue always was.

Adam, Ruby and Rory's father met them halfway to the smoker and took the bags from their hands, exchanging them with a beer for each of them.

"Hey, first family barbecue when you're drinking age!" He grinned.  "Special occasion, just don't go getting hammered."  Their father laughed and gave his girls a hug before returning to his station at the smoker.

The twins grinned at each other and cracked the drinks open.  Their dad was right, they WERE 21 now after all.  And while they'd done their share of drinking underage as so many do, they didn't have to hide it so much anymore.

The sisters were on the tall side, slender with sun kissed white skin and red hair, both with green eyes and a small smattering of freckles along their noses that only added to their natural beauty, making them look girlish and cute as opposed to marring their faces like some.  Save for their haircuts, it was impossible for anyone but family and their close friends to tell them apart.

But where Ruby kept her hair shoulder length and straightened, Rory preferred a pixie cut, keeping her tresses short and boyish for comfort.  The girls found a couple of free fold out chairs in the shade and took a seat between a smattering of cousins around their own ages.

"Dad broke out the horseshoes already?" Ruby giggled, nodding to where their uncle Frank and his teenaged son tossed the metal shoes at a post in the ground.

"Good lord, he should know better." Rory sighed dramatically.  "There'll be war over it.  War I tell you!"

Ruby grinned and took another sip of her drink before standing.  "Looks like dad just pulled some burgers.  Want one?" She asked.

"Yeah, you know what I want on it." Rory responded.  "Thanks!"

Music continued to blare through the backyard, some pop dance playlist made up of the current times hits as the family milled about.  A few moments later, Ruby returned with two paper plates laden with burgers.

"Lettuce, tomato, pineapple, mayo?" She asked as she handed Rory her plate.

"Yesss!"  She said as she grabbed the plate and tore into the burger enthusiastically.  Their dad really had a gift for the art of grilling, and the food at the college cafeteria was nothing compared to this!

"Ha!  Told you they'd be at it over the horseshoes." Rory laughed as Ruby sat down with her own food.  It looked like two players were arguing over whether one of them had stepped over the line before making his shot.

Ruby grinned and watched the two bicker.  "Yep.  The annual horseshoe war is on!"

The girls hadn't noticed Alex, their 14 year old cousin cross the space behind them.  He stopped at the words they exchanged and looked at another cousin sitting in a lawn chair not far from them.

"Speaking of war!"  Alex grinned, catching the girls' attention.  "You owe me a rematch Trevor!"

"Oh come on man!  I'm eating!" Said Trevor, a boy of Alex's age whose face was full of hot dog.

"Yeah, and you're not gonna blame a full stomach when I beat you this time!" Said Alex as he snatched the plate out of Trevor's hand.

"HEY!"  Trevor yelped, reaching for it again.  Both boys were laughing, and the girls couldn't help but join in.  "Give it back!"

"Nuh uh, you can eat when we're done!" Alex snickered, grinning as he held the plate out of reach.

"Ugh.  Fine!" Trevor rolled his eyes as he stood, though the twins could tell he was just as excited.  The plate was set aside and the boys stepped away moving toward the back of the lawn where a relatively empty space awaited.  Shoes were discarded in the grass by the lawn chairs.

"Good god."  Ruby laughed as they watched the two go.  "Time for the testosterone tournament already huh?"

"Looks like it.  They usually wait til the sun goes all the way down at least!"  Rory grinned as the boys collided with a hearty tackle and began rolling back and forth in the grass.  A few family members laughed and turned to watch the two of them wrestle, some shouting tips or jokes at the teenagers as they twisted and turned.

The competition was fierce.  Whenever Alex and Trevor faced off at one of the family get-togethers, it was always a spectacle.  Some of the crowd formed a loose semi circle around the two of them as laughter and good natured cheering took over.

"Come on, let's give the kids the attention they want." Rory laughed, getting up to join the spectators to the battle.  They didn't give encouragement or tips but added little whoops or yelps that could pass for cheers as the boys' battle raged on.  Everyone was enjoying themselves, watching the teens stain their clothes with grass and dirt as they grappled.  Finally, after several minutes, Trevor was taken down on his chest where Alex twisted his arm tightly behind his back.

"TAP YET?" Alex hollered, grinning from ear to ear as Trevor cried out.  Finally, Trevor's free hand slammed into the grass four times, signaling his defeat.  The crowd of family cheered loudly, including the twins who laughed along with everyone else.

"Told you I'd get you this year!" Alex laughed as he helped Trevor to his feet.

"Yeah, you got lucky dick." Trevor grinned back as he got to his feet.

"TREVOR WATCH YOUR MOUTH!" Came another voice.

"Sorry mom!" Trevor blushed as the boys backed out of the semi circle.

"OUR TURN!"  Came the cry of a smaller voice.  Along came Bryce, an eight year old second cousin of the twins, followed closely by Raine, a boy of his own age.  They didn't even wait for approval before kicking sneakers off into the crowd and wrapping up in a tight bear hug that brought the two of them tumbling to the ground in a much sloppier tumbling match than the teenagers had gotten into before.

"Boys are stupid."  Ruby beamed, laughing at the little warriors now commanding the attention of the spectators.

"Don't think I'll ever understand why they have to beat each other up to show affection honestly.  Rory rolled her eyes, but still feeling endeared by the family spectacle.

"I wouldn't act so high and mighty, girls." Said a male voice behind them.  Their father had joined the circle of watchers around the melee in the grass.  "You two were worse than ANY of the boys sometimes."  He handed the girls each a second beer without preamble as he took their empty bottles and tossed them into a nearby box designated for glass.

"Oh shut up dad, no we weren't!" Ruby said with mock indignance as she cracked her drink open.

"Don't pretend like you don't remember." Dad said as he raised an eyebrow.  "You didn't do it at parties like the boys maybe, but I can't count the times you two used to throw each other around.  Your mom used to say we might as well have had boys."

Of course that was true, but they would never openly admit it.

"We don't know what you're talking about." Rory crossed her arms, putting her nose in the air with exaggerated zeal.  "We were perfectly behaved little princesses."

"No way did Ruby and Rory know how to wrestle!" Said Trevor as he and Alex rejoined the circle after retrieving their sneakers.

"Hey now what's that supposed to mean?!"  Ruby turned, with a mock shocked expression on her face.  Rory joined her in giving the teenager a stern look.

"Oh come on, YOU TWO?" Said Alex as he joined Trevor's side.  "Nah, you didn't really WRESTLE.  No way.  Maybe some little tickle fights."

Dad laughed, a full throated chest guffaw.  "Tell that to our furniture!  Used to have to toss them by the collars out back to finish!"

"You hush Dad, we can handle this!  As for YOU TWO, why's it so hard to believe we could wrestle as well as anyone??" Ruby gave her dad a stuck out tongue before turning back to the boys.

"Well...prove it then!"  Trevor challenged, fists on his hips.

"What??"  Rory laughed out loud.  "You two wanna wrestle us?  No thanks boys, we're not rolling around in the grass with a couple of pervy teenagers."

The boys both blushed and said nothing for half a second as the girls turned back to find the younger boys wrapping up.  One of them was pinned down, and the other was holding him down firmly.  Both were laughing loudly.

"Not US stupid!" Said Alex.  "We're tired now anyway.  We meant to wrestle each other!"

"No, no I don't think-" dad started with a good natured chuckle.

"OH ARE RUBY AND RORY WRESTLING NEXT?"  Said Bryce as he and Raine untangled from each other.

"No Bryce, we're not gonna-" Rory giggled, ruffling the eight year old's sweaty black hair, but she was interrupted.

"TWINS NEXT!" Trevor bellowed to the crowd, shoving the girls in the back toward the center of the circle.

"Oh, that'll be a good match!"  Their uncle Kevin spoke up.

"We're not wrestling!" Ruby said, giving Trevor the side eye.

"Oh come on, don't let the boys have all the fun!" Called Aunt Heather from a chair toward the edge of the crowd.  "Show em how it's done!"

"Yeah, come on, wrestle!"  Called another cousin.

The crowd took up a chant, started enthusiastically by Trevor and Alex.

"WRE-STLE!  WRE-STLE!  WRE-STLE!" Interspersed with other shouts of laughter and encouragement

"Girl fight!"

"Come onnnn!"

"Battle of the twins!"

"Let's see it!"

"Don't be wimps!"

"Come on girls!"

The girls looked at each other and sighed.  They gave each other a little roll of the eyes in mutual agreement.

"You wanna?" Ruby asked.

"Ah hell, why not?  Let's give em what they want."

Alex and Trevor overheard, and gave a loud cheer, breaking the chanting as the family joined in on the cheers as the girls moved out to the center of the grass.

"Wait!  Your shoes!"  Called little Raine.  "Everyone knows you can't wear shoes to wrestle in!  What if someone accidentally gets kicked in the face??"

The girls laughed, giving Raine a look of endearment before kicking off their sneakers, then peeling their ankle socks off and tucking them inside before tossing them out of the way.

The girls both wore tight tank tops, Ruby's white, Rory's black, and short denim cut off shorts, and were now barefoot in the plush grass of their dad's perfectly manicured lawn.  They caught glimpse of their mom joining the crowd next to dad, a small smile of exasperation on her face as the two sisters squared off to the cheers and encouragement of the crowd.

"Let's give em a show!"  Ruby giggled, and lunged forward.  The boys who had goaded them on to begin with were the loudest spectators as their arms locked into a grapple.  But they could hear mom and dad piercing the noise of the other spectators as well.

The Arbor family Barbecue really was just the perfect party, wasn't it?

I love that they got barefoot before the fight. Also, their tight tank tops need to get ripped (no bra underneath) during the fight. Maybe not completely off, but enought to expose their breasts. That will get us straight guys sexually aroused. But, please don't let the girls get hurt bad.

Thanks !!!
