Has anyone read any of his stories? If so any good- and what are the fights like? Wonder if he lurks or is a member here?

I don't know anything about him or his stories, but thought I'd include the amazon link to his stories.

I love catfights and chatting.  Look me up on trillian at ljack66   (I think... just figuring Trillian out)   https://www.deviantart.com/ljack66

Just a word of caution with his work.  Yes I admit I have purchased and read a few of his "E-books", I put this out there as a buyer be ware.  He isn't original, If you do some close looking on this site in the story forums, you will see where he got his "inspiration".  Some of his stuff is plagiarized from stories on here. I use the term loosely, it may not be word for word but the context of his materiel is too close.

This has always been a fear of mine seeing my material pop up in a "pay for. site" and someone cashing in on it.  I am sure some of the other writers are aware of it, if not you should be.  Whether it is worth copywriting our stuff here or not, having someone do this ruins the spirit of FCF being free and open.

Amusingly the one person on here I saw who put a copyright notice on her work was also openly plagiarizing a well known history writer for all the non catfight stuff she had as background. When we confronted her about it she claimed she was a close personal friend of the writer and he was cool with it. Yes I am sure the New York Times bestseller is fine with surrendering the rights to his work for your catfight story :)  And it wasn't just the ideas it was word for word inserting characters names in for historical figures.

Don't mistake lack of talent for genius.

To add a little to this, the story link I attached at the end looks like an example of plagiarism then.

I had my suspicions earlier, now it seems almost confirmed. Thanks for the head ups, Jill.

Case in point.  That story was published several years ago.  All of a sudden it appears on the Amazon site under Eric's E-books, totally rehashed, but the context is the same.  The only thing is Cindy's style is different, you can "taste" the difference.

The other case is everyone here is familiar with Pacer's material or should be.  There again Eric has "rehashed" the same material.

This is not the only example.   There is another Amazon Kindle author who took a well-known and liked series from about a decade ago, changed the names and a bit of the wording, and is now selling the first two (chronological) stories.  He (or she) may be the original author, or he (or she) may not be.   But it does cloud my feelings about those who sell stories on Amazon.  Some items are clearly unique, and those authors should be praised (and supported). Others, maybe less so.  Buyer beware.
