My condulences,
I wish you all the best for your future, don't lose hope.
I lost my parents a few months ago (Him on 16th. Sept., her on 27th. Nov.) so I can definitly know how you feel right now.
Some say those wounds heal with time, but it can also be that they spread like rings of a tree.
So look forward and don't think of the "what if ..." and those things, because those thoughts may lead you to wrong decisions.
The paperwork and affairs afterwards, as little or big as they are, may also help you distract yourself from the past events and help you put yourself together again.
There's no patented way of dealing with this, but you will find it.
Stay strong!
Daniel
