OK.  Well, I'll get back into this by throwing in a catalogue with some old, but familiar tournaments from Video Sports Ltd.  I purchased video V016 - Middleweight tournament from this catalog.

I'll break this down in two or three posts.

Thank you so much for posting the 4-F Films images. I wish I could have seen a few of their movies.

One thing that I liked about Judell DuLong and her Amazons was that she sent samples of individual photos of her fighters and of the matches.  I believe that I posted a few in this thread. I have a few dozen pics at home.  Here are a couple of obscure companies that also sent individual pics.  One was a company called Wrestling International and I placed a pic on top of the descriptive sheets that they provide.

The other was basically one woman named Jane and her husband who managed the company.   I have only one pic and I placed it on top of one of the sheets that she sent me.  The last pic is a close-up of the pic featuring Jane.

More goodies to follow.

Was born in mid 70's, so missed out on the real early stuff, would love if the older fans post what 70-80's companies filmed real competitive wrestling, boxing or catfight matches?   Was it mostly scripted and pro style back in the day?
After I found the good mid 90's competitive producers like DWW, I gave away all my GG, DT, CaliWildcat and Napoli VHS videos :)
Now wish I could go back and check out more of the older producers that never got to see. Some many of those matches will never be seen again. Wish we could set up a way to store peoples collections and save as many matches as we can. Maybe can get a storage locker and split the cost? I'd hate to think of my collection being thrown out and no one can enjoy some of the rare matches I have after I'm gone.

To colt 45, coyote, floor and anyone else wondering what happened to the pics of my collection, as well of the collections of other members, on this thread.

I have some bad news...  Please go the "Board News and General Announcements" thread and look at "Site outage".  As a result of a major outage, it appears that the FCF has lost a number of pics, our avatars being the most obvious.  I will assume for now that the outage has also removed all the pics that I posted in this thread.  Problem is, it was a lot of work for me to take the pictures, crop them, adjust the brightness, etc., then right-size them to fit only a few pics per post.  I had posted several dozen pics and don't have the time to repost all of them.  The best I can do is respond to requests for particular pics that you would like to see, and we'll see how that goes.

I'll report the loss of the pics that were on this thread to the administrators, but I doubt that they can be reinserted from that end.

Sorry... :(

Pity about the lost pics, I've got old magazines, I'll submit some pics if I get time.

But you've reminded me of my youth wrstlvr. In the seventies I thought I was the only one in the world who liked cat fighting, till I found a Swish magazine in a newsagent. Then Wildcats was published in the eighties, one of the best girl fights mags ever. And as for Judell du Longs Camp Amazon, Karen Arnold was my favourite, I was in love with her. In fact, I still am! And I saw in these mags the art work of Eneg, Stanton, Ram and others, which inspired me to learn to draw, so I could illustrate my own fantasies.
