duped on customs
« on: October 13, 2010, 11:33:56 AM »
Anyone ever been duped on custom matches? I've lost 1000$ over the last four-five months on customs from two companies, Phoenix Wrestling and Knockout Girlz. To be fair, Knockout Girlz did get a custom made for me once about six months ago without any hitches, but I've been waiting for this second one for four months with various excuses offered by the owners. Most of the times they don't answer my emails.

And Phoenix wrestling has been a disaster. The guy never answers and doesn't have a website anymore. Anyone had trouble with either of these companies?

Good point.

But I've never heard of a company that allows you to put the cash in a holding account, although that would make perfect sense. I've gotten lots of customs done with other companies such as DT and Ringwomen who have been perfectly on time. If you visit all their websites you'll see that custom orders are usually done by online credit card transactions, money orders, or money wire transfer, but there's never a mention of setting up a holding account. I know most companies don't do this cause they want to pay their girls up front before the shoot.

Last word I got from Kickass Girlz was over about two weeks ago saying the match was being scheduled, but nothing since although I write them repeatedly. I just hope someone from their company reads this and acts on it.

I've basically given up on Phoenix.

I did, Dudgie...I opened this thread out of frustration. Anyway, hopefully this kind of thing doesn't happen to anyone else.

Cool but who's "we"? I've been in touch with Kickass Girlz several times, they answer sometimes and they give varying reasons as to why the custom is not ready yet.... I just ran out of patience, I guess, otherwise I don't like to name names and potentially hurt the company's business. One of the reasons why I gave Kickass Girlz a shot was they had a prolific library (and lots of hot looking talent) and admittedly did deliver on their first custom I did with them........but this last one has taken about four months and running......
