Decker vs Jenner
Brooklyn Decker’s career was at a crossroads. The blonde bombshell was now 35 years old and had a decorated career full of highs and lows on the beach circuit. Many of Deckers devotees felt she had another run in her but she was running out of time to wear the crown she had chased for over a decade. Those fans were somewhat jaded to learn that Brooklyn had drawn Kylie Jenner in the 2022 Queen of the Beach opening salvo.
Kylie Jenner at 24 was a decade younger than Brooklyn and had already built a name for herself on the sandy arena. Jenner made a surprise run in the 2018 tournament as one of the youngest competitors before being dispatched by Kate Upton. Rd 1 provides the crowd with plenty of chances to scream for their favorite as first Brooklyn, then Kylie, gains (and then loses) the upper hand. Brooklyn using more finesse and agility while young Jenner focuses on power as the basis of her attack and defense. Neither with any prolonged dominance, which analysts will later claim favored the less experienced Jenner where they'd all expected Brooklyn to be more calm in front of a boisterous crowd, yet she seemed to be more nervous in the ring than Kylie.
Rd 2 Kylie begins to come into her own as a fighter, upping her game, taking the fight to Decker on more and more occasions Brooklyn looks more tentative than the 1st round, it's as if she's afraid of making a mistake or maybe she doesn't want to look bad in her opening beach match. Five minutes is a long time for the 35 year old and Jenner's cardio level seems to be better than Brooklyn's as the older model appears winded late in the round. Rd 3 Brooklyn is really laboring and it's all Jenner from the bell to the finish as she takes control of Brooklyn and wrings her out until the model looks like a limp dishrag. As if being soundly dominated by the much younger member of the Kardashian Klan Brooklyn suffers the ultimate humiliation - that of being snuffed out by a youngsters Ass to eliminate her from the tournament in her first match!
