You might like to get yourself a drink and a sandwich before watching this match. It would seem with no time limit the winner would be the first to get 3 scores, pins (for a count of 10) or submissions. Tekla has a height and weight advantage but for strength the ladies seem to be an even match. Leslie gets tremendous credit for when she looked on the verge of defeat she kept battling on. This match was so long it became more of an experience than a thrill to watch. The ladies were perspiring so much from their efforts, they were slipping on the mat and sliding over each other finding it impossible to get a hold, that after 35 mins a break was imposed so they could dry their bodies.
I think this shows a 15 or 20 minute match is ample . A time limit allows a lady, like Leslie here, who put so much effort in despite being bossed for the majority of the match, to possibly get a draw.
Everyone will see matches differently. I would like to know opinions on this one please.
