After her double BAFTA and double Golden Globes nominations, the 20-year-old hotshot, Scarlett Johansson started to get a lot of attention, especially after wearing THAT red dress to the 2006 Golden Globes. She used her popularity to join the celebrity fighting scene and it didn't take long for young Scarlett to find an opponent, after all, she was eager to step into the ring and the fans couldn’t wait to see her fight.
Jennifer Love Hewitt answered the call, willing to find out if the youngster is worthy of the praise she’s been receiving. At this point, Jennifer was 27 years old, an established and experienced fighter but nowhere near the top so she was seen as an ideal debut opponent for Scarlett. The PPV was set to take place on March 15th 2006 in the biggest fighting arena in LA and soon set the record for the highest attending fight of the 2000s.
Scarlett proudly exited the locker room and strutted to the arena in a dark red robe, she entered the ring and took off her robe, revealing a magnificent red lace bra and panties as the crowd erupted into cheers and whistles. JLH, on the other hand, was not a fan of the youngster and the attention she’s been getting. The older woman entered the ring, revealing a curvy figure and a beautifully simple black bra and panties, earning cheers from the crowd but not nearly as much as Scarlett.
Without further ado, the fighters stepped to the middle, touched gloves and started at the sound of the bell.
ROUND 1:
After a brief moment of predatory circling, JLH rammed her right hand into Scarlett's mouth as a clear declaration of war. The panicked youngster quickly raised her guard, blocking Jennifer’s follow-up jabs but left her midsection open and got punished by a swift kick below the ribs. Hurriedly and without aim, she quickly launched her left hand, missing the brunette by a good few inches as the older woman jabbed at her unprotected face following up with a STUNNING UPPERCUT that nearly launched Scarlett off her feet. The debutant remained standing, completely stunned and baby stepping backwards. Jennifer mercilessly assaulted young Scarlett with punishing left-right-left combos, slowly pushing her ropeside and SMACKING her chin with another uppercut, this time sending the lass to all fours. Scarlett let out a painful moan and wiped her face checking for blood but didn’t find any, the pained blonde then got back up to her feet, assisting herself via the ropes and beating the count at eight. Jennifer licked her lips and grinned as she started picking the youngster apart, shoving her to ropes and drilling uppercuts into her belly and ribs, jabbing at her breasts and nose, hooking at her cheeks, the whole nine yards. By the bell, a disheartened Scarlett was left dangling on the ropes with her midsection bruised and her left eye starting to swell while JLH laughed on her way to the corner, glaring at her handiwork across the ring.
ROUND 2:
Scarlett took a deep breath, put her guard up and nervously stepped to the middle, Jennifer was eager to meet her there, marching from her corner and trading blows with the younger woman. The young blonde managed to hold her ground for a while, landing some well placed shots to Jennifer's nose and jaw but the older brunette was outpunching her and slowly but surely pushing Scarlett backwards, eventually trapping her in a corner. Just as her back hit the corner, Scarlett let out a panicked gasp, desperately trying to get out via clinch but Jennifer wouldn’t have it, keeping her pinned to a corner with multiple knee kicks to her belly. After a dozen or so staggering strikes to her belly, Scarlett's legs finally gave out and she started to stumble down onto the canvas, just as she was about to fall Jennifer kept her up, placing Scarlett's right arm around her neck and pounding the blonde's belly with her right. With each punch sticking to her bruised midriff Scarlett let out an audible "guh", she was unable to escape or fight back and forced to take the punishment. The ordeal put a smile on Jennifer's face, she enjoyed battering the youngster on her debut, no less in front of thousands of fans who were eager to see her fight. After a long and gruelling thirty seconds the bell rang, giving Scarlett a much needed break. "See you next round, babe." Jennifer whispered into her ear before letting the blonde fall to all fours.
After only two rounds Scarlett's midsection was covered in bruises and red marks, the medical team checked out her ribs and made sure she could stand before letting the young blonde proceed with the fight.
ROUND 3:
Jennifer wasted no time as she stormed out of her corner, assaulting the hurting youngster with a series of kicks to her hips and thighs then following up with stiff uppercuts to her breasts and jaw. Scarlett is all but defenceless at this point, getting tossed from one side of the ring to the other, catching cruel, punishing strikes from all directions as Jennifer rips her to shreds, sending the blonde onto her back with a STAGGERING LEFT CROSS. Scarlett yelped, clenching her teeth as she wiped the blood from her nose and began to rise up, beating the count barely at nine. The referee asked if she could continue to which she nodded and raised her tired arms. Jennifer toyed with the battered lass, jabbing and hooking at her lush breasts, provoking Scarlett to punch only to dodge and counterattack with swift strikes to her nose and jaw. The older brunette spent a full minute hooking at Scarlett's breast and jabbing at her face before the young blonde's legs started to give. Once again, Jennifer prevented her from falling, positioning the youngster's head on her breasts and wrapping her right hand around Scarlett's neck then proceeding to pulverise her belly with painful knee kicks until the bell.
ROUND 4:
Battered and unresponsive, Scarlett rose from her stool with her arms barely up and proceeded to the middle, Jennifer scoffed, meeting her there. She opened up with a massive left uppercut to Scarlett’s belly making the young lass gasp for air, then started hooking her ribs and breasts as Scarlett moaned in pain, trying to push the older woman off. It's no use, Scarlett is too spent to fight back or defend properly and Jennifer knows it as she props the younger up every time she's about to fall, peppering her for belly and breasts then bodying her to ropes. Head down, arms tucked behind ropes and legs barely holding her up, Scarlett was helpless and completely defenceless. Jennifer smirked, put her mitts up and started mercilessly assaulting young Scarlett with a combination of kicks to her belly and breasts, hooks and jabs to the face and to finish it all over a STAGGERING UPPERCUT TO SCARLETT'S JAW sending the debutant onto the canvas.
“Welcome to the big girls club, Scarlett, it was fun beating you!” Jennifer laughed, walking to her corner.
Scarlett was motionless as the referee counted her out after which the med team intervened making sure hadn’t sustained any injuries. Hurt and teary-eyed, Scarlett managed to stand up and exit the ring with some assistance. As she was leaving the arena fans cheered her name much to Jennifer’s dismay. “I beat her to a pulp and they still cheer for her, this has got to be a joke.” She grunted, exiting the arena with a proud smirk on her face.
