Morgan Fairchild and Bo Derek had a series of catfights on "Fashion House".  Despite the star power and budget, none of them quite broke thru as iconic.  What went wrong.

1> While Morgan and Bo both look great and are by no standard over-the-hill, and are wearing their best hair and clothes, we can never quite shake the nagging thoughts that:

a> Sure, Morgan's 'do is full and pullable....and, yet....it's not her full-on bitchblonde Jenna Wade look circa 1979 .... or even her all-out peroxide Flamingo Road get-up.  Would't it have been great watching her fight in THOSE?

b> Bo's corporate-MILF shoulder-length 'works'.....and, yet....this is the goddess who practically invented beaded braids in '10'.  Imagine a 1979 hair-ripping catfight in THOSE?

2> Morgan is clearly "in-shape"--no beer-belly paunch on either lady.  But Morgan's forward movements throughout the series of this awkward 'hitch' in them--like she's on rollerblades or her underwear is rolling up on her or her nylons are rolling down or the elastic on her panties just snapped--I can't put my finger on it....it's just that something is 'off'.  A great catfight requires confident, smooth movements.  She never has it when the bell rings and it's Go Time, especially when Bo is on-screen.

3> Even tho Morgan is supposedly the Alpha, it's Bo who gets the jail-cell fight scene against the supporting actress.  Why wasn't Morgan banging down the writers' doors demanding equal screen time?

4> A food fight?  With cake frosting, no less?  Really, ladies?

"Extra Time":  Why Morgan Fairchild was the perfect Jenna Wade (versus, say, Priscilla Presley).

1> Morgan tapped into every woman's worst nightmare of her man's ex.

2> Morgan's conversational voice is flirtatious as can be.  Her 'good afternoon' sounds like 'show me yours and I'll show you mine'.

3> Pity-inducing single mom vulnerability.  Without the stretch marks.

4> Schrodinger's Cat vibe on who the Baby Daddy is:  your man somehow is-but-isn't Jenna's kid's biological dad.

5> Hot-to-trot MILF.

Would have been great to see Morgan's "Jenna" vs Victoria Principal's "Pam".  Or Morgan's "Jenna" vs Morgan Brittany's "Katherine" also.
