Sorry for my lame Shakespeare reference, but I'd like to know how many catfight fans enjoy seeing girls pull hair when they fight, vs those who prefer a stand up fist fight?

I think we've all probably seen videos from the past 15-20 years or so where a catfight is in progress, and many in the crowd yell at the girls to stop pulling hair.    Maybe it's generational.  I'm old school (literally), and I've always preferred seeing girls pull hair when they fight.  That seems to be reflected in the tv shows and movies from the early days up into more recent years.  But for the past 15-20 years or so, most female fights in tv shows and movies are more of the stand up fist fight type, with martial arts kicks and punches.  And that trend seems to also be true in real life fights, to an extent anyway.

It almost seems to me that hair pulling is instinctive when girls fight.  I mean, when you watch girl fights from different countries, and different cultures, the girls almost always go for each other's hair.  And from many remarks I've seen on fcf as well as other forums, one of the main reasons people enjoy watching girls fight is because it's sexually arousing.  I know that's true for me.  But although I may watch a stand up fist fight between two girls, I don't get the same feeling of arousal that I do when I see a good old fashioned, catball catfight.

Anyway, sorry for the long message, but I hope to hear from others as to whether they prefer hair pulling or no hair pulling.

   I'm convinced it's instinctive. I've seen dozens of real catfights in my life, mostly in Asian bars or nightclubs, and I'm not sure I remember a single one that didn't involve hair pulling of some sort. Hair is not just a symbol of beauty for women. It's a hell of a good way to control your opponent. Usually, it wasn't some little tug but a real "dig those hands in and pull for all you're worth" hair pull. Sometimes it was with one hand to hold the head steady for the other hand to punch, slap or scratch the face. Sometimes it was with both hands to try and rip her head off or use the leverage to throw her down. 

   I've seen women spun in circles, swung into walls or over tables, bent completely over and kicked and even tossed down marble stairs. Women generally don't have the physical strength men have to inflict damage with a single punch but that doesn't stop them from doing significant damage through the sustained application of blind rage!

   Most of the real injuries I've seen happened at the end of the fight when one woman is no longer defending herself. That's usually when the blood and broken bones occur. It isn't pretty or sexy. What IS sexy is when the women are too drunk to seriously injure each other and they just end up rolling on the ground pulling hair and stripping each other because neither can stay on their feet.

The post-fight "wrecked hair" look is beyond anything that can be fantasized. 

Just contemplating the hours, and dollars, of work which will need to be invested to get back to status quo is invigorating.

It's almost as if your tip jar got stolen, or something invasive like that.

I don’t like seeing girls knock out, have their heads kicked or faces stomped on.  Blood pouring from wounds does nothing for me.  Usually when the comment is ‘lame fight,  these girls don’t know how to fight’.  these are the scraps I like.  General mayhem, pushing pulling, slapping and the most feminine trait of all.   Mirroring Wasteland as Shakespeare said, “When a couple of wenches goeth at it,  little excites morefold than when damsels bury digits in each others  locks”.

I’ve always thought hair pulling should be allowed  when women wrestle.

Just my thoughts but for me I have always went with the concept, do whatever it takes to be the woman that is left standing to walk away head up and the winner. To that if ripping out hair, punching my opponent the nose, raking my claws, biting , kick so on means I hear her beg for it to stop then that’s what I’ll do. I feel T.v./movies are using more women fist fighting/ martial arts cause of MMA. The problem with that is unless your proficiently trained there will still be the old techniques. Taking control of your opponents hair allows you to control the head and where the head goes the body MUST follow. As for anyone’s personal choice on how we gals fight , we’ll it’s all personal to each individual’s fetish I guess.

I don't like to see blood or real injury at all. My preference is attractive women tangled body to body on the ground with remnants of clothing scattered around them. Unlike scripted and filmed ones, real fights in the real world usually don't work out that way unfortunately. It sure is nice on those rare occasions when it does!

Like the two women I saw fighting over a "lucky" slot machine in a Macau casino. I heard the argument in Chinese. Then a crashing noise as they probably began the fight by falling into the machines. I ran around the corner to see them hit the floor and begin wildly kicking, ripping at blouses, slapping and scratching. It took a minute or two for security to arrive and pull them apart. By then their tops were shredded, skirts hiked up around their waist, hair a mess and scratches on their arms, faces and chests. No real injury so just about perfect for me. Only thing missing was a winner.

Nowadays women tend to dress like men and fight like men.

Don't give a damn what anyone else says.  It is completely feminine to pull hair when fighting, should be part of the tactics used by us and any woman who doesn't partake of it is likely going to be a doormat.  It is the primary method for controlling the opponent.  Contrary to argument, there are no rules when a fight occurs.  Sit back, watch and cheer on your favorite.  If you are going to bellyache about hairpulling, go home.

Yes hair pulling is natural..first with both hands or then with one hand to have one free for a face/ nose attack or a good grabbing at opponent's blouse collar..

One of 3 must rules in an non-scripted catfight. Body punching and breast attacks are the other 2. All others ie: slapping, face straddling and pussy grabs are bonus catfight tactics.

I love to combine hair pulling with punches and kicks.  For example, pull the bitch's head back by the hair and punch her in the face, or pull her hair down, tilting her down and kicking her boobs or stomach with a knee.

Rarely mentioned but just as awesome is when a women is lying on the floor or mat, and her opponent comes over and grabs a nice handful of hair and picks her up and drags her around.  An extra bonus is if the girl who is getting yanked off by her hair is screaming or squealing in pain.

Far too rare unfortunately.
