Hey guys, sorry for the long wait, this has been on my desk for a while haha.
Welcome Back to Wrestle Town!!!!!!
So, this is obviously a continuation from the previous post of Wrestle Town, and I am truly sad to say that there isn't a real fight in this post. The actual fight will be coming up shortly, as I just wanted to have so much context and story coming into this fight. I will be putting the actual fight AS A REPLY TO THIS POST. Being brutally honest, if you just want to read a fight between 2 women, then I'd suggest waiting for the follow up, where the POV character's mother wrestles her friend from college.
However, all that said, please leave all your feedback in the comments, and thank you all for reading this pre-post message.
ENJOY!
POV: John
I don’t know what I expected, but the woman standing in front of me exceeded anything I could have imagined. Ella, she said, as she shook my hand, with a sweet smile.
I invited her in and got her settled, before we sat on the couch. My mum was running late from her shift so I kept Ella entertained with chit chat. Ella was a pretty blonde woman, with fair skin. She told me she was my mum’s age, but she looked younger. She was wearing a white tank top, with a brown leather jacket and jeans. She was my mum’s height, but she had a bit more muscle on her legs and arms, though she wasn’t as toned as Mum.
She told me about how she and my mum spent hours and days studying together when they were in med school, and how competitive they were.
“Oh, me and Anu loved competing against one another, always trying to beat each other on tests, everything was all about dominating the other woman, we even-”
Ella was interrupted by the door opening, and my Mum walking in. She looked tired from her shift, but her expression changed when Ella walked into her line of sight. She dropped her bags and they hugged each other tightly.
Mum and Ella sat next to each other, while I sat on the sofa next to them. I could immediately see the chemistry between them, their jokes, and banter with each other was like they’ve been seeing each other for the past 20 years. But, there was also something more, like, a primal urge for them to fight, to see who the alpha was.
I asked Ella about herself, and she was just sweet. She told me about how she grew up in London, in the region of Barts Medical School, which is where Mum went.
“My gosh, I loved it there,” Mum exclaimed, and explained to me how every short break she and Ella had, they would go to Ella’s family’s house. Mum would often regale them with tales of Isle’s Burn. Ella and her family were often intrigued about wrestling, and Mum’s family.
Ella snorted, laughing “Oh my god, do you remember the look on my mum’s face when you told her about it?” Mum burst out laughing, holding onto Ella, “Jesus, I think she half expected me to start a fight club in Med school!”
We continued sharing stories like that until all 3 of us were clutching our guts laughing. The next few days all blended together, Ella, Mum and I got on splendidly. Ella toured the town on her own most days, while me and my mum were busy.
However, one clear night opened up, where Me, Mum and Ella all went out to dinner at the fanciest restaurant in town, Santino’s. I got dressed up in a suit, and Mum and Ella both wore fancy full length dresses that showed off their backs and arms.
We sat around the table, chatting, much the same way we’d been doing for the past few days when Ella finally sprung the bomb on us.
“Uh, ok so,” Ella cleared her throat, she was clearly nervous, “Anu… for a long time I’ve always wanted to know something about the 2 of us.”
Mum looked concerned, Ella wasn’t a normally nervous person. “What is it Ella?”
Ella glanced at me, “So… we both know that academically we’re equal, but ever since you told me about how you guys wrestle here, I’ve always wondered what that’s like, and more importantly…”
Mum cut Ella off, “Ella… I think we’ve always wondered the same thing,” Mum leaned forward, a faint smile on her lips, “Who’d win in a fight.” Ella nodded, with a hopeful look on her face. Mum cocked her head to the side, smirking “You’re on hun, be warned though, I’m gonna whoop you.”
Ella’s nervous demeanour dropped, a smirk formed on her face too, as she confidently chuckled and spoke “I wasn’t sure you’d accept, after all, you wouldn’t wanna tap out in front of your son.”
Mum laughed, “Honey, you’re going down.”
We wasted no time, as the clock read 11:42 as we walked into my house. Ella and Anu were staring each other down. Mum had a fierce look on her face, but Ella was responding with her own, neither woman backing down.
Mum broke the silence “Ella, I’m going to go change, then when I’m back we’ll explain the rules.”
Mum and Ella went to their rooms, and came back down in similar gear. Mum was sporting a pair of red skin tight yoga pants, showing off her toned legs, and Ella was in black yoga pants. Mum was wearing only a red sports bra, her toned abs on display, whilst Ella opted more conservatively, with a white tank top.
The 2 women met in the middle of our living room. A couch was there, and a large wall mounted TV screen, but for the most part, open carpet for them to go at it.
“Ok ladies, I’ll be officiating the fight today” Ella and Mum didn’t break eye contact, both glaring at each other from about a metre away. Ella smirked at Mum, giving me a quick glance before she put her blond hair in a ponytail. Mum did the same, not breaking eye contact with Ella as she put her own hair in a tight ponytail.
As the 2 women were facing each other, I analysed their bodies. Mum and Ella were the same height, both standing at 5’6, but Ella clearly weighed more. That isn’t to say she was fat. Mum’s body is incredibly tight and toned, abs, and Mum’s biceps were toned, but a bit small.
In contrast, Ella’s arms were bigger, and she clearly had more muscle, but her muscles were less toned and defined. The same is to be said about her legs, slightly thicker than Mum’s and less toned, but they were likely more powerful.
My attention snapped back to the fight as Mum took a big step towards Ella, calling upon her self proclaimed “lioness stare”. She always did this before her fights, just to psych out her opponents. What Ella did sent a shiver down my spine.
Ella, instead of being like other women, either backing off, or giggling a bit to break tension, elected to ramp it up. Ella stepped towards Mum, their noses almost touching as she responded with her own stare, a look that said “I’m gonna destroy you.”
I got between the 2 fit women and stated the rules, nervously clearing my throat “Ok,so… uh… 25 minute time limit, pins of 5 seconds with both shoulders on the floor, and of course taps and verbal submissions are allowed too.”
Ella and Mum took a few steps back, and I tried to quell the nerves in my own gut, I’ve never been less sure of my Mum being able to win a fight, but something about Ella told me Mum was gonna get whooped.
I counted down… Ella and my Mother began their fight.
