I had an experience where I was out with some friends and their wives at a bar.  Our friend was a bouncer and came over to chat with us a bit.  Told us about a huge catfight the night before.  First thing I noticed was it seemed the women were much more into the story than the guys (guys may have been hiding their interest?) and asked lots of questions.  When the bouncer moved on they started telling stories about fights they had seen.  All kind of living vicariously through the fights of others?  Only one mentioned a fight she was in that she had won.  Not sure if it means anything... just my experience.
I love catfights and chatting.  Look me up on trillian at ljack66   (I think... just figuring Trillian out)

Most of the time I think they would be shy about it unless you know them well. A while ago my sister had a fight with a girl I liked but my sister and I don't really get along that well, so she wouldn't have told me anything about it and not many people were there to see it also, to ask about it. When I next saw the other girl I asked her about it and she was a bit suspicious at first why I was asking, but I managed to get her to talk about it, and she seemed to enjoy talking about it, probably because she won haha.

Can you explain the full story? Did she make your sister cry?

I wasn't there so I can't describe the full fight but it sounded like a normal fight by what she said. Hair pulling and punching while standing up and when she got on top she spoke about pulling out lots of hair.

From my point of view NO we don’t , number 1 reason is in general we aren’t thrilled we were reduced to have to fight that way, part of the reason couples can’t talk about it.
2) a real catfight can feel like a flash of time, and not every detail is recalled and a few better off not mentioning. 3 we prefer our men are aroused by us being with them and wanting us for us not hearing a real fight story or fake( though at times everyone needs a little help lol)

I'm not entirely sure that you answered the original question. the way I read the question was do women talk about catfights among themselves. Not in front of men or to men for there entertainment.

My wife likes to talk about catfights because she loves how it gets a “rise” out of me. Without fail

My ex used to come home and tell me how much she wanted to kick a co-workers ass all the time. They eventually became friends and once talked about the fact they both wanted to fight each other at a drunken bonfire. After a couple shoves and claims that they each would have won if they fought, the friends husband broke it up but they surely enjoyed talking shit to each other which resulted in many years of great sex.

I think if this happens at all, it will be on rare occassions. Women who are into combat sports or martial arts might exchange their experiences easily if they know they share that passion. And even if they do not know that about each other telling "I am a boxer" or "I do Judo" still can start an interesting conversation and nearly no one will judge her for that.

But randomly talking about a catfight or spontaneous brawl one has been in to other women has to be way more complicated, because you can not know if the other one will find that totally inapropriate. So most would not do it, I guess.

In 1970s self defense classes, the female class members would always choose sparring with each other over having the padded 'attacker' take a run at them.

ummm kind of. for example, one of my friends once got into an altercation at the grocery store with another woman and told me about it. she also kept contemplating how the fight would've gone if it had really escalated. It's like, sometimes women find it kinda thrilling to share these experiences..... and its not just women i find, people, regardless of gender often find it engaging to talk about conflicts or confrontations they've witnessed. sharing stories about personal experiences, especially those that involve emotion, conflict, tension and drama is a way for individuals to process what happened, to seek validation or empathy from their peers and to navigate their feelings about the event.

A win is a win, most women like to talk about it. But try talking to a woman about her defeat. It is not likely to be an easy task.

10 years ago when my wife worked at a bank her and a coworker had serious issues between them. One day at a staff meeting the other woman made a remark to my wife and my wife went off on her. Fortunately it didn't get physical but it was close and my wife walked out.
She never mentioned the incident with any of her friends.
