Clips4sale has now joined onlyFans and loyalfans by making it impossible to access the site unless you register using your personal ID or passport! I am 100% NOT OK WITH THIS! Under no circumstance will I give my SS# or drivers license ID to an adult website or some random third party system.
    Unfortunately this means this is pretty much the end of my catfight collecting something I've done since around 1998. The good news is I'll save a bunch of money but it puts on life support a hobby I loved.
   In closing I just have to say thank you PORNHUB for fucking up the entire adult movie industry because you ran a sloppy shop. And to producers I beg of you PLEASE look to starting your own websites and PLEASE do not use websites that make us have to give up very personal info just to view your content.

Yoti offer three different options, but I suppose it will depend on the age verification laws in your local jurisdiction and what package C4S is paying for.

There is

1. Create a Yoti account and it works on every single website that uses Yoti and you get a passkey
2. AI Facial recognition tech which takes a live scan of your face and estimates your age and gives 30 days access to that site before being able to do it again
3. Upload your proof of age to the platform

It's a nightmare for the user, but even more of a nightmare for us producers who are having to bend over backwards to continue selling our product and earn a living.

North Dakota is attempting to do something different which puts the onus on the device manufacturers to lock adult content at point of manufacturer much like mobile phones in the UK, this has been supported by the FSC (Free Speech Coalition) but is receiving significatnt pushback.

Remember this is the aim of the religious right, to stop people viewing porn, and some within the current administration in the USA want to make it illegal to produce anything considered pornography.  Its a double whammy now of constantly changing Mastercard rules and now age verification.

Its a difficult landscape and is definately the new normal.

It's also another good reason to not use pirate sites, as they will have to have age verification too, and I am prepared to bet my house that your details are a bloody site more secure with C4S/Yoti then with unethical pirates

The worse case of censorship in my state is that you can't even access Pornhub PERIOD regardless of age verification lt's been outright banned here. I have zero sympathy for them because they started this mess!
  I'm just really bummed because there's so many content creators who I'll never get to purchase content from again unless i give in to the rules of my f***ed up conservative state potentually jeopardizing my personal info. I still had a ton of stuff on my personal C4S list to buy.

I've been reading horror stories about these 3rd party ID apps. Again why voluntarily make it so easy to have your identity COMPLETELY STOLEN!? Producers PLEASE stay away from sites that use 3rd party age verification. You're potentially endangering your loyal customers. At least wait until every site requires this. As of now you do still have options to have sites distribute your content without a decent percentage of your customers having to go through this. Some are still totally oblivious (some willfully ignorant) to how much they are exposing themselves to identity theft.

I don't buy anything from Clips4Sale, but I do (or did) check Female Fighting and Female Wrestling just to see what's new.  No more.  I'm not against age verification necessarily, but it's one thing to show id in a store and another thing entirely to upload id data to an adult website or a 3rd party age verifier.  I'm done too.  I'll put the time spent checking out what's new to some better endeavors.

I'm not sure if credit cards could be used to verify. If they can C4S isn't giving us that option. The only acceptable form of Id for them is a full photo of your drivers license or passport. Apparently after it's submitted they'll run your Id through some system and if you check out then you're clear. Again,  I AM NOT trusting some uncredited  3rd party company to have my personal info. I wouldn't even put my ss# on the IRS website lol.
    Someone mentioned a VPN. After doing some research that seems to be the way to go. I have a friend that's into computers and tech stuff who also thinks that should work. So we shall see. But based off of the cyber training ive had per my job I would NOT advise anyone to upload their license or passport to these 3rd party sites. Keep your personal info safe.

Jaybee is correct from what I know working for a utility company.

Typically, a new customer is asked for their Social Security Number as part of the application process but they are not required to give it. If they don't, then they are required to submit notarized copies of drivers license. Once received, the Fraud & Protection department runs it through some kind of software to validate they are who they say they are (part of identity protection). For us, this is required since payment on utility bills is part of the individual's credit report (it also determines if a deposit is required).

But the use of a adult site is NOT part of my credit report. If they have that info, your credit profile can be stolen.

Use Nord VPN and select a connection from a state that doesn’t require age verification (California, for example) and you should be fine for viewing/purchasing from C4S, Pornhub, etc.

Not an ideal solution, but it’s simple and it works.
