Hi I'm a newbie trying to upload my first story.  The posting keeps saying 'file attachment is too large ' although it's shorter than most. Do I split it into 4 attachments or is there another issue? I am using an Android phone

Normally stories are uploaded as text posts not attachments

As stated previously do it as a post. Copy and paste the story text. Check the spacing in the preview since it does tend to run paragraph formatting together so you may need to add that to the post itself. Then post.

Thanks, I've now copied and pasted my story but the error message says "no recipient" Who do i send it to please? Sorry to be such a novice!

To no one. You were able to start this thread to ask how do this, yet when I tell you start another thread in the stories section to post your story you suddenly decide to use the messaging system? I hope I am wrong but my strong suspicion is there is no story but instead a spam or virus link. And for a novice you certainly seem to think of multiple ways to upload something to the site..

I think i have given you all the info a reasonable person would need to post a story here.
