I’ve had the same feeling comparing different styles, especially when switching between Western comics and anime hentai. The tone shift and pacing can be really obvious. Some of the story arcs there go way beyond just the visuals—it’s more emotionally charged or over-the-top depending on the scene. I think that contrast makes it stand out but also feels a bit jarring if you're not in that mindset already.
