Lifetime Movie Undercard fights
« on: Yesterday at 12:25:46 PM »
Many times in a Lifetime movie with a deranged villainess, about halfway thru the movie, the villainess's friend or sister of whatever will realize that the villainess has a scheme in progress, and will confront her.

The villainess and her acquaintance then engage in a catfight, which of course the villainess wins.  But it gives a preview of the villainess's fighting style and skill level.

I thought I was the only one here who watches Lifetime movies. There’s no better way to unwind after a long ICU shift than enjoying a cheesy movie with a formulaic plot, melodramatic dialogue, ridiculous twists, and over-the-top bad girl characters.

I think we had a previous post discussing how the climax of many of these movies feature a catfight between the villainess and the “good girl” protagonist. But as sinclairfan pointed out, sometimes the villainess beats a secondary character before getting to the main event with the heroine.

Addendum: I just copied this from  the LMN website. Here are some of the movies that are playing TODAY:

The Wrong House
Rebecca Lassiter and her husband Brian leave New York City to move to Los Angeles and find the perfect suburban house for them and their young daughter. However, a local personal trainer, Kathleen, has a secret past with this home and becomes distraught.

Dangerous Medicine
After losing the use of his legs in a car crash, Tony (Chris Cimperman) is helped to walk again by Daphne (Leann Van Mol), his physical therapist. But Daphne’s loving care soon morphs into a sick attempt to possess Tony forever. Meredith Thomas also stars. (2021)

Spinning Out of Control
After winning a contest, Natalie Clark rides her free stationary bike daily, guided by her stunning and inspiring virtual instructor Lia Sterling. Natalie becomes infatuated with Lia and attempts to befriend the fitness mogul in real life. When Lia steps away from virtual training to focus on her personal life, Natalie initiates a sinister plan to eliminate everyone in Lia’s life, so Natalie can have her as her own permanent trainer and best friend. Stars Ria Ridley, and Kelcie Stranahan (2023).

Fit For Murder
Based on actual events. The lives of fitness celebrities Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan took a dark turn when they hired a young female assistant. Tory Trowbridge, Brock Yurich, and Paris Smith star.

Don’t bother walking a mile in my shoes. That would be boring. Spend thirty seconds in my head. That’ll freak you right out.
