Does anyone know whether it's possible to see replies we have sent to messages as I sent quite a lengthy one and would like to use the content again but am unable to see it.

You need the option to save sent message clicked on first and checking your profile you did not. If you go to Modify Profile , Personal messaging-  and Click on save a copy of sent messages option. The hit Change Profile to save

After that when you read your messages, click on the messages tab on the left. The options will be New Message, Inbox, and Sent Items Right now you would only have the first 2
