I seem to recall a few weeks ago a post that described how to post long series or chaptered stories. I have several stories I'd like to post. Some are so long that I would like to post them in multiple replies. Where is the best forum to do that? Guidance would be appreciated.

So there are a few options:

If you want each chapter to have its own thread I would suggest either spacing out the chapters posting (don't post 10 chapters at once and have half the first page of a forum be your stories) or using the Series forum which was made for stories that was going to have either multiple updates a day or a lot of chapters. It is mainly for the catfighting section since a lot of the other sections are pretty slow. The reason it got created was we had some people who thought doing tiktok video size posts multiple times a day was the way to post a story. Which pissed off the people who posted their stories in one or two posts and were being bumped down by these rapid fire postings.

If you do Story A in one thread with multiple postings you could leave it in the catfighting forum (or whatever fits the fight tome) if you either spaced out chapters being posted or did them in a short span of time. Like if you posted five chapters in a half hour in one thread I am cool with that. The only issue you might have is someone might notice chapters 1-3 but not 4 and 5 and miss you finished it.

So what it comes down to is don't flood the first page or seme like you are constantly bumping your story. If that is what will happen then best post it in series.

Hope that makes some sense. feel free to ask if you get a handle how you want to do this.
