Several terms seem to be used interchangeably but, really, have very different meanings..in your opinion, what differentiates a wrestling match vs a catfight vs a fight?

Catfighting can be more sexual
to my regrets i have had to give up real fights because of injury

lol. I'm failing! Here are my thoughts. Again!  Catfighting can be anything from playful and sexualto intensely competitive- the style I prefer. The essence of catfighting vs other fvf sports

Hairpulling - absolutely essential

Clothes ripping

Slapping - to body and or face - v primal and catty

Body attacks - using breasts, asses or pussy as weapons or targets

Trash talking - less common in competitive but hot when it happens

Face sitting - v catty and dominant

Humiliation - v personal and v catty

Again would love to
Know what others think
As mentioned I am a fan of female fighting with my main interest being catfights!  Real, competitive, arranged catfighting has been a lot of fun! Hope to meet like-minded folks!

For me, it's the style and moves used. I've seen the term "catfight" be used to describe any fight (or even arguments) between women, but to me "true" catfighting as opposed to other styles is characterized by hair-pulling, scratching, slapping, and rolling on the floor. You can incorporate other moves and still have a catfight, but I wouldn't refer to a fight that lacks any of these as a catfight even if all participants are female.

For me it's very loosely defined (which makes it hard to find the stuff I like sometimes lol), but I don't really like the "Wrestling" catfights, I prefer much more natural and real, something like Fighting-Dolls is a good mix for me most of the time. I guess what I like more could be considered fist fights or street fights, except I don't want to see anyone getting punched or bloody, I do enjoy watching girls roll around on the floor going at each others hair

My personal definition of a catfight is that

1) both women must start the fight barefoot
2) clothes must be ripped

To me: it means need for domination (control) doesn't mean blood or scratching, although it can happen in the moment. When I see video (real) it usually means sitting or laying on your rival (example school-girl pin) hair pulling is effective for control, in general:  "I'm the queen bitch."  Depending on reason for the fight, Humiliation is a must at the end.

My definition is any fight between 2 women who are not trained fighters that is not limited to only specific actions (think boxing or wrestling). They can have fighting experience but have never been formally taught. Some examples....

Punching only? That's boxing not catfighting.

There are multiple rules and a referee? That's MMA or WWE not catfighting.

No punching, biting, kicking, scratching or slapping? That's wrestling not catfighting.

No punches to the face, biting or kicking when down but hairpulling, slapping and body punches are allowed? Probably catfighting.

The women are wearing location appropriate attire (think swimwear at beach or skimpy dress at club) and there was no discussion of rules before fighting? Most definitely catfighting!

Attire would be dresses or long sleave blouses. No bra.

A wrestling match has a fairly strict set of rules.  Primarily no punching, hair pulling, scratching etc.  Usually with the goal of either a pin for a count or a submission.  A fight can cover a broad range of fight styles and be between any two combatants, male or female.  A catfight is a female vs. female fight generally characterized by very few rules and usually applying to more of a amature/unskilled style of fighting.  It is also applied in a derogatory (and I think incorrect manner) to any conflict between two women.
I love catfights and chatting.  Look me up on trillian at ljack66   (I think... just figuring Trillian out)   https://www.deviantart.com/ljack66

The term catfight came about due to the raw savagery two women fight, like cats claws biting so on, wrestling is more controlled and technical with holds, and just saying a fight is assumed catfight. Or fist fight
