I guess all good things must come to an end! After the 50s poll, now the 60s have also reached the finish line. I've promised Glamour Fights my reviews a couple of days ago, but it took me longer writing them down then I expected

Also I want to thank GF for all the work and effort he's put into making these polls. It's easy enough to put a couple of pictures in a random poll, but making effectively 16 fights per round with all the build-up and post-round reviews is a completely different ball game! Big thanks and I hope you'll be back with some other inspired ideas once this competition is over
I'm the first one posting my picks, so I'm not influenced by all the usual pundits. Here's what I make of this round supporting GF's projected hairpulling frenzy which occurs in most of the fights:
Luciana Paluzzi vs Suzanne Somers
Straight off the bat comes one of the most equal match-up of the entire round. Suzanne has got more powerful thighs but that wasn't quite good enough to beat Farrah Fawcett and Luciana is stronger then Farrah IMO. This spells some trouble for the blonde especially considering the fact Luciana is still livid about losing to Ann Margaret by the narrowest of margins. Suzanne jumps on the Italian without any hesitation and grabs her by the hair trying to take her down and trap between her strong thighs, but Luciana is even more aggressive then Suzanne expects and a very rough fight takes place with both women literally beating the crap out of each other along with some extremely vicious hairpulling. Luciana knows that Farrah Fawcett managed to rip all of Suzanne's hair in the previous round and feels like she can match that without any trouble. Suzanne is doing all she can to tame the Italian's fiery character, but in the end her face is covered with bruises and scarfs as Luciana is clawing her apart like a woman possessed. Once Suzanne begins to whimper and struggle to breathe, Luciana can't resist pulling her rival's blonde hair to the point Suzanne is ripped bald and lying on the ground in the agony of defeat.
Britt Ekland vs
Adrienne BarbeauAfter being shoved down to eat sand by Tuesday Weld, Britt Ekland is very brave to challenge Adrienne Barbeau into a hairpulling contest. Adrienne is on the small size but not as slenderly built as Britt and this will be underlined once both women claw into each other's hair. Adrienne wasts little time in simply outmuscling her blonde rival and drags her onto the ground by the hair. Britt manages to stay on her knees at least until the point when Adrienne puts all the bodyweight behind her and pins the ailing Swede on the floor. Few punches to the face take the fight out of Britt who slumps horizontal on her back and is unable to resist Adrienne working her over. Adrienne easily overturns her rival on her stomach and rips all of Britt's blonde hair. At this point Britt probably doesn't even mind her head being ripped bald, she just wants Adrienne to stop. But the brunette has other ideas and turns the fallen blonde on her back where she can display a facesitting ride of victory. - I told ya, her dirty blonde hair is all going out once I fuck her up! The fact some stupid blonde bimbos are ahead of me in the standings is one big disgrace and needs to be corrected. Pound for pound I'm a top 10 fighter here!
Edy Williams vs
Dian ParkinsonOK, so I went with two brunettes ripping plethora of blonde hair. Once the blonde chunks are cleared up from the ring, Edy Williams jumps straight into action and claims she's going to repeat what Luciana and Adrienne have done with their blonde rivals. Problem is, Dian Parkinson has got other ideas on her mind and thinks she's going to rough Edy up even more then Martine Beswick did some time ago. Now, I've checked the record books and it turns out Edy lost to Martine by 9 votes whereas Dian lost by only two votes. That gives the blonde confident look that she is stronger then her brunette rival. Action her is fast, furious and very rough as both women immediately go for each other's hair and try to gain supremacy as soon as possible. As more blonde and brunette chunks start to cover the floor, Dian's better agility starts to take over and she is able to throw Edy around. The brunette manages to stay upright for some time before she finally loses her balance and falls down. Dian doesn't need any second invitation as Edy has let go of her hair while going down and pummels the momentarily motionless rival straight in the face. After this Edy never regains control of the fight and Dian displays a rage of fury and literally tears the brunette apart. She puts her knee on Edy's stomach and presses on it while continuing to pull out the remainder of Edy's hair to the point the brunette loses all her strenght and doesn't even have one last breath to whimper out her submission. Dian has little sympathy for her battered opponent and rips all the hair she can before grabbing Edy's bald head and pounding it against the floor numerous times. The once very proud brunette has long been knocked unconscious at this stage and Dian can easily take the gold bikini as battle trophy instead of Edy's scalp - Look, I've messed up this stupid cow so badly I don't need to take her scalp anymore. I'll go with the gold bikini as I've shown who is the better woman. She said she's gonna rip me bald, but I fucked her up instead. And for everyone's information, I still think I'm better woman then Martine Beswick as well!
Jaclyn Smith vs
Lindsay WagnerLooks like Jaclyn has changed her haircut for the last round probably as a precaution having heard most women are going into hairpulling fights here. However Lindsay has other plans as she meets the brunette Angel on the beach where both of them want to go out of their lacklustre competition on a high note. Both are convinced they can pummel the other one in a straight-forward slugfest and decide to attack right from the start which is something very unsual for them. I believe this will come down to sheer strenght rather then any particular fighting skills (neither of these two can really speak of possessing any really dangerous skills) and Lindsay is slightly stronger then Jaclyn so after a pretty lenght rolling back and forth on the sand, Jaclyn ends up on her stomach with Lindsay sitting on her back and grinding her face in the sand. Jaclyn tries to salvage some pride and refuses to give up - something she would have done long ago when fighting with most of other women here - but Lindsay is desperate to get the win and she grabs the aching Jaclyn by the hair and drags her towards the sea where she repeats the move with grinding Jaclyn underwater. Jaclyn could have survived with some sand in her throat, but she can't handle the water in her lungs and eventually gives up before Lindsay can drown her for good.
Victoria Principal vs Annette Funicello
Despite losing her nine previous fights, Victoria ends the tournament with a win as she is simply stronger then Annette and wil have little trouble with tossing her around. Victoria is confident of her supremacy over the petite brunette and comes out all guns blazing which results in quick pounding that make Annette suffer. Victoria wasts little time and pins the aching rival on the floor where she can maul her into sheer exhaustion and subsequent submission. I'd like to say something positive about Annette but for me she should be fighting Goldie Hawn for the 31st place at best, the fact she has won eight fights has exceeded my expectations. Her win over Dian Parkinson is almost as shocking as Barbara Eden beating Claudia Cardinale in the 50s poll. Nonetherless she ends the competition on a sour note as I make her loss to Victoria her 10th in a row.
Tuesday Weld vs Stefanie Powers
Stefanie belives Tuesday is a weak blonde and someone she can dispatch easily, but Tuesday knows that with a win over Stefanie she can moved ahead of Sharon Tate who has an almost impossible task of beating Martine Beswick. - No way I'm finishing behind Sharon since I beat her up in our fight! Stefanie accepts the bellypunching contest with Tuesday but her debilish plan of slugging Tuesday in the jaw backfires when it turns out that Tuesday can punch twice as hard and easily makes mush out of Stefanie's stomach. In the end Stefanie ends up on her knees covering her battered stomach and sobbing out yet another defeat while Tuesday is off cheering for Martine Beswick.
Sybil Danning vs Elke Sommer
Elke's fighting record says it all, she's been the aggressor in almost all her fights and tricked the opposition with her innocent girl-next-door looks. Sybil is better off with the knowledge that Elke is anything but a sweet, innocent blonde. However she doesn't give a damn about it filling in the "big, blonde bitch" image perfectly. Elke's hairdo is somewhat questionable being a very easy target for Sybil but I think is already setting up for the winner's photoshoot and wants to look as glamorous as possible (black leather included or not). Problem is, Sybil grabs it right away and begins to yank the German's head back and forth which immediately deprives Elke from the aggressor status. Indeed Sybil vocally abuses her opponent as she begins to pound Elke's stomach in the proccess. The German has seen off the likes of Pam Grier, Jill St. John and Senta Berger but this kind of onslaught is something that even Ann Margaret wasn't able to produce. Back in the early stages of this tournament I reckoned Sybil as the most likely overall winner as she has the age, bodyshape and that vicious mentality all on her side and I don't remember if I've ever picked against her. Even though Elke is on the brink of the overall glory I have little doubt she'll get wrecked by Sybil very badly and once Sybil rips her bald and batters her into a complete mess, she'll have to borrow one of Elvira's wig if she wants to look anything like a glamour girl in the winner's trophy presentation. I wonder if Elke would accept one of Elvira's wigs since neither of those are blonde? But at least a black wig would match that leather outfit we are promised (unless Ann Margaret spoils the party alltogether).
Senta Berger vs Raquel Welch
There is a lot of pride at stake as both these redheads were looking for the overall win soem time ago before their records derailed at the expense of Elke, Ann and Sybil. Both also suffered very painful losses in the previous round and Raquel is still mocking about being cheated in her fight egainst Elke. The cavegirl outfits make this almost a sequel of 1,000,000 BC however Senta has her own script for this one and lures Raquel into a malicious survival contest with the loser getting battered to the extreme. Raquel has her own skills, but the problem is, Senta is stronger and her punches make Raquel suffer even more then she ever expected. Senta is not feeling that concerned about her stamina after losing to Sybil Danning because she knows Raquel has taking her share of pounding from Elke Sommer as well. After a lenghty mauling, scratching and hairpulling fight, Senta outmuscles Raquel and sends her down on her knees with some vicious punches. Going all in, Senta pins the aching rival on the floor where she rips Raquel's outfit and scratches her tits raw to deprive her of any response. After this she can easily ride her out for victory and then drag the semi-unsonscious Raquel into her cave where she can use her as a display on the battle trophy board. This will be a very bad end to Raquel's otherwise good tournament and Senta could say that if she was born in USA, then she'd be the ultimate cavegirl of Hollywood and not Raquel.
