i echo fightfanatic  a man may not worth fighting over true but if the other woman does not take a hint to leave then what can one do walk away head hanging?  lexibabe you have never had a guy you did not want to lose to another woman?  once that starts all you may become is a steping stone.
to my regrets i have had to give up real fights because of injury

caryn1, the reasons i said this is personal,my ex boyfriend cheated on me several times, if ever i would have been in anirl fight the last time would have been then, then i realized that he dident respect or care about me  ever,it's my feelings that while in a relationship if a guy can't resist and keep his hands off another woman,he is'ent worty fighting for

and the same thing is true for guy's..if the girl they are with can't keep her eyes and hands off other guy's she is'ent worth the pain and trouble of a fight either

For me the guy who can't drive off a woman giving him unwanted attention isn't the the type of man I want to be with. If he can't get rid of a woman I'm sure he's going to be useless when some guy grabs my ass..

As far as someone hitting on my GF, we have a policy: In that case we'll both beat their ass, since both of us feel their attention is unwanted. Oddly most don't take us up at that point :)

If someone was told no by your s/o and the person still tried to get with them, what would you do then?

in that case fight fanatic it is still very much up to the persone being prusued the guy or the girl to make it very clear that they are happy with who they are with and are not interested in anyone else      ,the person that is causing the problem  will get the message and go away why continue to prusue someone that's not interested in you, when there are somany other fish in the sea

I understand that, but some people can't take a hint and will keep trying. It's not always all that simple you know?

Much like the author of that quote. He who can't seem to grasp the fact that, unlike rutting animals, many humans don't have constant battles over their chosen mates. Usually when faced with someone exhibiting stalker tendencies law enforcement may get involved. Which given that your latest post has moved this out of a club setting it now seems to be the point of asking

"Well ok say this person has followed your bf home and is in a tree looking in his window..ummm naked. Yeah would you fight her then? " which I don't think was the original posters intent (lord I hope not) At that point if you don't want to get the cops involved just wait for the stalker to actually try to enter the home and shoot her dead as a burglar :)  You would be doing the world a favor at that point.

There are reasons to catfight with another woman, but a guy isn't one of them. If you have to fight to keep him, he isn't worth keeping.

There's another sense in which a woman might fight "over" a man - not to stop another woman from  taking him but simply because she knows he will be turned on by her doing it and she wants to impress and excite him.

It's the guy's responsibility to set her straight, not ours. If he really cares about the relationship, he'd tell her to back the hell off no matter how hard she tries. If he doesn't, if he shows he's interested in her, or if he uses it as a turn-on or ego trip to have 2 girls fight over him, well, I agree with Lexi 'n the others. He's just not worth my time or energy. Just sayin'.

So under no circumstance you would get involved then huh Laurie?

Nope. If the derfwad cares so little about me 'n what we have together that he wouldn't tell another girl to back off 'n go play with somebody else, he's not worth it. I'm far from perfect but I deserve better than that. It's over. Done. End of story. Close the book. Time to move on.
