I’m a newbie to this site and as a male I was pleasantly surprised to see how many female members there are. I assumed that female fighting/competition primarily appealed to men so naturally I expected to see mostly other men on the site. Not only are the women represented in large numbers but women appear to be just as active as the men. I think this is great! But I do wonder what the appeal is so I’ve posted a few questions below and would love to hear what some of the ladies think.

1.   Why do you cyber fight? What is the appeal in challenging another women to a fight and once you find someone how do you go about doing it? Is it a turn on sexually or for the competition or both?
2.   Do women watch fighting/wrestling videos? If so, do you watch with your husband/boyfriend or primarily solo?
3.   What section of the this web site do you visit first?
4.   I see a lot of posts by attractive women with a lot of follow up posts challenging or supporting the original posts. What is your reaction when you see a new post, especially if the girl is attractive? Do you want to challenge her or be friends?

why are you so surprised that they are female members, on a female catfight site,that's what i don't understand from some of the other guy members that are sojaded to believe that some very hot women are interested in the subject .

'smokedbyu' - Yes I'm surprised to see so many active female members on the site but I'm certainly not jaded. I guess I just never thought women would be that interested in talking/writing about fighting. Believe me, I'm pretty stoked that they are, though.

'nutmeg78' - I didn't realize I was registered way back in '03. I've only recently been active on the site and made my first post this month. I'm more of a newbie in the sense that I'm just now using the site. Sorry for the confusion.

and so far as  the op original question all any one has to do is search you tube, dailey motion or such sites
and see amateur clips of young women wrestling each other,, yes the majority are just in fun, it does prove that young ladies are interested in the subject

i have been sites like this for over 10 yrs and have been chatting in rooms like this one for just as long between here and irc. It never surprised me about how many women are into this. I have always been glad that they do

This guy probably registered another name way back in 03 and has been chatting under another name since. No way would someone register in that year then remember the name and password some eight years later.

I dont believe for one minute that the questions are genuine rather an attempt by some man to try and weed out the men from the women which is why I have no intention of being part of his little project and responding

I believe we have a bit of each, real women and posers.  It has been my experience talking with friends and their wives in bars about this subject that women are in many ways very much interested in this subject and gauging by the guys present (we may have all been trying to hide our interest) even more interested in the subject of women fighting than guys are.  However, I don't believe that it was as much of a fetish for them as for the men, more of a liberating empowering idea.  If you look at the chat room most hours of the day, there are generally more women present and active than the men.  I am sure that is partially that women are more social than we are, but unfortunately it is also because there is a significant "poser" population in any of these rooms. 

As far as the question of if we believe so many are posers, why do we keep coming back?  For myself I have never met anybody irl that I met online and I don't do cyber sex or mixed or anything.  I am just happy to have somebody to chat with about this subject.  So it really doesn't matter if they are "Real" or "Faking" to me.  With regard to outing Posers, why would you bother?  It is a waste of your time.  Even if you managed to get 100% concrete proof that a person were a poser and they even confessed, later that day they would be back with a new persona and profile.  What's the point?  Just relax and try to enjoy it.

Of course for the people who are actually planning to meet, I wouldn't do anything until there is voice verification and after that web cam verification.  If they can't spring for a $10 microphone and a $30 web camera and get an account on Yahoo, they are not for real.  Get over it an move on.  Also for the ladies, Join Voice Verified on Yahoo.  It isn't 100% reliable, but better than an open chat room.
