1970s Sex Symbol Tournament Round 15 Set 1
« on: September 17, 2011, 11:52:20 AM »
{alt} {alt}
MARGOT KIDDER (Age: 31; 5'6.5" / 31st 1-13) vs AGNETHA FALTSKOG (Age: 29; 5'7" / 18th 5-9)
After defeating Julie Ege in the Scandinavian derby, Agnetha Faltskog is on a mission to further improve her record and move even more ahead of fellow bandmate Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Her chances are looking good as Margot Kidder managed to win only once in previous 14 fights and comes as an underdog into this round.

{alt} {alt}
VALERIE LEON (Age: 36; 5'11" / 23rd 3-11) vs CHRIS NOEL (Age: 38; 5'5" / 12th 10-4)
A much taller brunette takes on a smaller blonde, but it's Chris Noel who has the better record so far. Chris got blown away by Christie Brinkley in the previous round and wants to return to winning ways at the expense of Valerie Leon who is on a six fight losing streak.

{alt} {alt}
SUSAN ANTON (Age: 29; 5'11" / 11th 10-4) vs SONIA BRAGA (Age: 29; 5'2" / 26th 2-12)
Another blonde vs brunette fight but this time it's the tall woman having a superior record. Susan Anton scored a good win over Jacqueline Bisset in the last round while Sonia Braga lost to Marta Kristen in a hairpulling brawl. Will the fiery Brazilian have anything to challenge the tall blonde or will Susan kick her all over the place thanks to her size advantage?

{alt} {alt}
CYBILL SHEPHERD (Age: 29; 5'8" / 2nd 14-0) vs LINDA HARRISON (Age: 34; 5'6" / 14th 9-5)
Linda Harrison has scored some upset losses to lower ranked women but she's usually right up there against the favorites. Cybill Shepherd has moved within two votes of the overall leader Christie Brinkley, but will have her work cut out if she wants to take over top spot from Brinkley. The odds are on Cybill, but perhaps Linda can spring a surprise and stop the blonde's winning rout.

{alt} {alt}
ANNI-FRID LYNGSTAD (Age: 34; 5'7" / 22nd 3-11) vs SUSAN DENBERG (Age: 35; 5'7" / 7th 13-1)
These two are matching each other in size, but the fighting skills firmly are on the Austrian's side. This could be a blow out but the readhead singer might be spurred into some action after seeing Agnetha Faltskog leaving her behind in the standings.

{alt} {alt}
EDINA RONAY (Age: 35; 5'4" / 19th 5-9) vs YUTTE STENSGAARD (Age: 33; 5'6" / 17th 6-8)
This could be one of the closest fights of the entire round. Edina Ronay is a vicious catfighter and in case of victory she'll equal Yutte Stensgaard's record. Expect the hair and clothes of both women being ripped to shreds but who will come out on top? Do I see the pundits being split on this one?

{alt} {alt}
PAMELA TIFFIN (Age: 37; 5'7" / 30th 1-13) vs SONDRA LOCKE (Age: 32; 5'4" / 28th 2-12)
Another fight between equally matched women in terms of the ranking. Pamela Tiffin targets Sondra Locke's blonde hair and wants to assume control of the fight from the start. She feels it's a personal insult to her that such a cream puff as Sondra is ahead of her in the standings. But Sondra isn't much impressed and promises to finally deliver Clibt Eastwood a victory which so far have been very rare in her resume. One thing is guaranteed, if Pamela wins by more then two votes, she'll moved ahead in the rankings.

{alt} {alt}
LYNDA CARTER (Age: 28; 5'9.5" / 9th 11-3) vs SUZY KENDALL (Age: 35; 5'4" / 15th 6-8)
Another brunette vs blonde fight and Lynda Carter must look out because Suzy Kendall is on a three fights winning streak. Lynda's chances of winning the competition have been partially put aside, but she wants to keep a place in Top 10 for the very least. Losing to the blonde model might seriously dent her confidence.

There are some one-sided fights in this set for those who like domination fights. The overwhelming beatdown in this set will be Lynda Carter demolishing poor Suzy Kendall. She will be in a contest with Christine Brinkley beating up on Donna Mills for the biggest beatdown. I give the edge to Lynda this time. There are more closer fights for those of us to who to see even battles. The two closest fights will be Edina Ronay vs Yutte Stensgaard and Pamela Tiffin vs Sandra Locke. In both cases I give the edge to the shorter woman and think the Edina vs Yutte fight will be the closest, maybe even a draw. There will be some fights closer than their records might indicate. In spite of their records, Valerie Leon will give Chris Noel all she can handle and maybe then some. This will also be a close fight to the surprise of Chris. Cybill Shepard will beat Linda Harrison but Linda will give her a very tough battle.  Now for the individual fights:

Margot Kidder vs Agnetha Faltskog: Margo is sitting like Miss Prim and Proper although we know she can get her claws out. She plans to take Agnetha out my spiking her with her six inch sharp heels. Agnetha is wearing boots which makes her more agile and better fro stomping overall. Agnetha has little trouble bending Margo over her stool, pulling off her shoes and using them to spank her bare ass. Margot’s ass is naked after Agnetha rips her split seam all the way up to her belt.

Valerie Leon vs Chris Noel: From their records Chris should put Valerie away quickly. Chris moves in quickly for the kill to keep Valerie from gaining any confidence, being on a sex fight losing streak. However the taller Valerie nails her with some punches that stagger Chris. The outcome of the fight depends on how much Valerie dazed Chris. I am going with the impression that Valerie cant really put her opponents away and that Chris knows how to get her on the ground where she will take control. But there is a chance that Valerie will knock Chris silly.

Susan Anton vs Sonia Braga: Susan has even more of a size advantage voer Sonia than Valerie does over Chris. Additionally Susan has shown she knows how to finish off her opponents. Even worse is Sonia’s disappointing record. Most figured the fiery Latina would show that spark and strike terror into the hearts of her foes with her claws. Alas, her claws seem to be more like puppy feet. One of Susan’s easiest wins so far.

Cybill Shepherd vs Linda Harrison: Cybill will be a real swinging, clawing terror as she wants to overtake Christie Brinkley for the lead. She had better be careful and not get too out of control or she will find herself sitting on her ass with Linda laughing over her. I think Linda matches Cybill in the strength and toughness departments but Cybill is the better fighter and wants it more. So Cybill will win but not even come close to getting the biggest beatdown.

Anni-Frid Lyngstad vs Susan Denberg: This fight will not be a blow out as Anni-Frid is too well matched with Susan in size. But Anni-Frid seems to be the exception that makes the rule that red heads have a bad temper and make great fighters. Susan will dispatch Anni-Frid with ease and drag her around by the hair just to show off.

Edina Ronay vs Yutte Stensgaard: This is my pick for the closest fight this set and maybe overall this round. I see a back and forth fight that could go either way. I ended up picking Edina because Yutte looks a little too cocky to me and Edina has the look that says she can’t wait for the fight to start. A real hairpulling battle with both women pulling out all the stops to win once Yutte finds she is in a real fight.

Pamela Tiffin vs Sondra Locke: Based on their records there is little to chose between the two although Sondra has one more rare win than Pamela. Pamela also has three inches on Sondra and I think several pounds. That should favor Pamela.  Sondra has at least two things in her favor. First of all she is faster than Pamela. Secondly she wants to show Clint that she is not the wimp her record indicates. She will be a whirlwind of activity, enough to barely overcome Pamela by wearing her down. Pamela will start off with the early advantage but Sondra will just keep after her until Pamela can no longer fend her off.

Lynda Carter vs Suzy Kendall: Not a lot to say for this fight other than Lynda will have fun torturing and humiliating Suzy. Lynda cannot understand how she has lost three fights. There will be no let down or carelessness this time as she sees her chance to get the biggest beat down and takes it. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Suzy tied to the poll at the end and getting forty or more lashes with the golden lasso.

Maybe I got up on the wrong side of the bed today so I am feeling a little contrarian. But seeing all the fights between these sexy women has made me feel better. My contrariness is satisfied by making a few upset predictions.

Margot Kidder beaten by Agnetha Faltskog
No upset here as I agree with the other pundits. Agnetha uses her boots to kick the crap out of Margot then locks her between her strong legs to crush a submission out of her.

Valerie Leon beaten by Chris Noel
One fight for the blonde and now one for the brunette. I think both barbosa and realisticman  have already said what needs to be said. The big brunette is just too big and strong for the smaller blonde in spite of Chris’ record.

Susan Anton beaten by Sonia Braga
Another victory for the brunettes even though Susan is a lot taller. Difference between this one and Valerie-Chris fight is that the physical size difference isn’t as great. Also Susan is rather skinny while Valerie has a nice body on her. Susan tries to scissor Sonia only to find that Sonia twists her legs into pretzels to get her to submit.

Cybill Shepherd beaten by Linda Harrison
The brunettes are on a roll for the third win in a row. Lynda is much tougher than her 9-5 record. Cybill is also tough but seems to be on the lighter side for this fight. Linda is  able to go muscle against muscle and overpower Cybill, forcing her into a matchbook pin.

Anni-Frid Lyngstad beaten by Susan Denberg
Susan restores some honor to the blondes albeit against a redhead. The Austrian puts Anni-Frid in one punishing hold after another until Anni-Frid is thoroughly beaten. A camel clutch is the finishing hold.

Edina Ronay beaten by Yutte Stensgaard
I agree with Glamour Fights that this could easily be the closest fight. The other pundits are all on Edina’s side even so. I pick Yutte because I agree with barbosa it will be a long, hard hairpulling fight. Yutte looks to be in be in better shape and she will outlast Edina.

Pamela tiffin beats Sondra Locke
Reddish brown Pamela gives another loss to the blondes. Neither woman has strength or skill is it becomes a rolling around girlie fight. Pamela’s weight allows her to virtually full doby press Sondra who can’t escape.

Lynda Carter beats Suzy Kendall
An overwhelming victory for the brunettes against the blondes in this fight. Even I am not contrary enough or dumb enough to think Suzy has a chance against Lynda. Lynda has vowed to not lose another fight. She has the body, strength, size, and skill to do it. Suzy will be crying in pain right from the first takedown and will continue screaming out until she is bawling real tears. A contender for the biggest beat down but I think Lynda will just come up short.

Thx for all the votes and comments as usual  :) Edina vs Yutte seemed to get the fan favorite vote award in this round!

Margot Kidder (25) vs Agnetha Faltskog (64)
The blonde singer will rarely get a bigger win than that - if any at all. Her kicks and punches were easily good enough to completely destroy Margot who has now dropped to last place in the standings.

Valerie Leon (40) vs Chris Noel (46)
This was one of the closest fights of the entire round as the experts predicted. Valerie's height advantage allowed her to keep Chris at distance early on, but it turned out that Chris is a very game catfighter who is afraid of the bigger women. Once they hit the floor and started a classic scratching & hairpulling fight, Chris wore Valerie down and laid her flat on her back to secure a hard-fought victory.

Susan Anton (53) vs Sonia Braga (37)
Sonia's fiery nature allowed her to keep in touch with Susan for most of the time, but the blonde's punches finally send the brunette down on the floor where Susan finished off her dazed opponent. Sonia's fighting approach is as good as anyone, but perhaps she's a bit too slender to mix it up with heavier opposition and has to accept yet another defeat.

Cybill Shepherd (52) vs Linda Harrison (38)
Linda gave Cybill a good test and salvaged a lot of pride before finally going down - literally - under the blonde's body. Cybill's excellent physcial shape made the ultimate difference and allthough Linda hang on as long as she could, she couldn't oulast Shepherd in the end.

Anni-Frid Lyngstad (24) vs Susan Denberg (64)
Back to some old-fashioned beatdown here. Anni-Frid was completely outclassed and out-fought by the stronger blonde who showed her little sympathy and mercilessly knocked her out in the proccess. Even byline gave this one to the blondes as the physical mismatch was never to be questioned. Tough loss for the redhead especially considering the big win Agnetha scored earlier.

Edina Ronay (43) vs Yutte Stensgaard (46)
This was a real cats' clawing affair between Edina and Yutte. Some experts had this a lock for the closest fight of them all and it was indeed the second closest one. Both women ripped themselves to shreds with their clothes and hair all over the place. Even Morgan Fairchild would be proud of the hairpulling produced in this contest. But at the end with both women holding to the left-overs of their scalps it was Yutte who delivered the final blows and forced Edina to crumble down and admit defeat. They won't recover from that scrap quickly and Yutte must be looking like a loser from all the other fights, but this particular she won and that's all that matters!

Pamela Tiffin (46) vs Sondra Locke (44)
This was the closest fight of the entire round and both Pamela and Sondra was equally as aggressive as Edina and Yutte albeit this fight ended witj a different kind of submission. Neither of the girls had any significant strenght advantage but Pamela eventually proved to be stronger and smothered Sondra on the ground winning by a pinfall. Sondra did all she could to shrug the auburn haired rival off her body, but just run out of steam whereas Pamela added her second win to the one she picked up against Linda Harrison earlier. A tough fight and a rare win for Pamela, however she still remains behind Sondra in the rankings as she came one vote short of jumping above the blonde.

Lynda Carter (64) vs Suzy Kendall (27)
Another one-sided contest but Lynda would be disappointed by the fact even Agnetha Faltskog scored a bigger win this round. Suzy Kendall quickly found out that she's got little chance of troubling the bikini-clad Wonder Woman and crumbled under Carter's punches and kicks way too easily. Suspicions are being made whether Suzy wanted to spoil the biggest beatdown predictions and passed out on the floor too quickly. Lynda hardly got a proper warm-up and it was all over already.
