I don't know. The obvious answer would be cheating (using multiple accounts etc.), but that would make more sense if it only affected some girls with their respective "fans". It actually happens a lot. I may be wrong, but blondes seem to win most of the polls - maybe that's the spin :)

Jaime can definitely put up a very good fight, but I doubt she'll win.
I don't think Cori's going to end up in this position^^
