DICE ROLLING for POLL matches
« on: December 01, 2011, 05:10:26 PM »
As an old yahoo owner and with great exp about POLLS , there is a system with DICE - 2 dices .Offcourse , there is no human participation and this is a BIG DISADV. From the other point of VIEW , its 100% fair while the human participation has holes e.q. multiple ids or voting the same fav type of fighter etc...So what do you think ?
a/yes - its the best solution to create poll matches or tournies etc...as there is the fairest way
b/no- because despite the fairest way , there is no human participation and this is a big DISADV>
To understand how this system works , the organizer throws 2 dise
if the rolling is 6.6"s or 5.5"s or 5.6"s or 6.5"s or 3.3"s the fighter eq A wins 1 point
if the rolling is 1.1"s or 2.2"s or 1.2"s or 2.1" the fighter A loses 1 point
if the rolling is anything else , the fighter A wins 1/2 point.
Then the fighter B replies .this happens in 10 rollings or 20 or 30 it depends the duration of their fight eq 30 roling it means a more harder fight .In the end the difference of their points dicides the winner e.q A vs B = 3-2 in a 10 rolling match {10 minutes}
or it would be a draw 3-3.In a title fight , you can have extra rolling e.q. 3 till one beats the other.
What do you think ?
the thrill of the competition counts more than the result
