One from the vault

Something from a while back that wandere3d through my mind.
I have had a fascination for catfights for a long time, I got into 3D art about seven years ago and have some art I've created, and I know... some think that it isn't art, but I enjoy it.

JT, just a single that I took a long time putting together then got interested in a different set, and never came back to finish.  That doesn't mean I won't, just never took it to task to finish.  Damn Sharon, that's a loaded question if I ever saw one....  I have a lot but on disks I would have to search through to actually find anything that is even close to the style I m using today.I may look back one ay though find a set and make them more realistic.

Reddy,

I like your work. Where do you come up with your ideas? They are simple and let one use one's imagination. Although, I would love to see some of your work that shows a little of the plot of why they are fighting, your latrest string has given me a chance to fantasize my own story to the fight. Your work has kind of evoleved in my mind. LOL. Does that make sense to you?

How long have you been doing this stuff anyway? "Enquiring minds want to know".

JT, I started out with Poser 4 that is about aybe 2002 most of my original works are not worth viewing, I didn't understand the impact of collisions between the models and hair was really rudimentary.  Oer the years I began to understand that joints only bend certain ways and will only twist in limited degrees.  It's a pet peave of mine that I get really put out when I have bought pre-designed poses and found them to have no thought put into them related to the bending of joints and just stopped using them arms would be bend sideways to make a pose work instead of manipulating the shoulder to achieve it properly or the same goes with legs, hands necks any joint.  Now I do my work from my mind I'll see it then put it into the program I haven't used anyone's pose set in a while to hard to bring it it back to realistic.  A scene can take from 40 minutes to a few hours depending on the background and what sort of scripts I decide to run to make it appear more real.  I have started using a morph to fix shoulders when its actually useable and that requires that the models be nude in the upper body clothing does not morph like the character when I use them I ususally have to paint the cothing or patch it in photoshop to make it work.  I found some free and some somewhat inexpensive hairbrushes for Photoshop and started using them about half way through this set. not sure if that has helped or not., I'm not very experienced with painting in that venue.  Sorry if I got wordy, but there are a lot of folks out there I'm sure that wonder why some of us have the style we have and I know there are many that would like to try this.  I'm not sure but DAZ3d is giving away several programs right now that will allow just about anyone to design this sort of scene, it costs money to buy the rooms and clothing but to get a beginning try using DAZ Studio Pro, like I said free.  They are or were also giving away Bryce Pro too and Hexigon 2, first creates scenes second is for designing objects.  This isn't a commercial but rather for many a possible free way to get free software and start trying this some will excel some well like me will take a while to start catching on.  Regardless, the more people that try, the more art may appear here.
